Did not have any pressure in any of my hot water faucets. Called them up, and they immediately asked if I had my hot water dripping last night due to the freeze. Unfortunately, I only had my cold water dripping. They said it was most likely that the hot water line froze, so they recommended that I run a faucet for a bit and wait for it to unfreeze. Lo and behold, I was back up and running in less than 10 minutes and I learned a valuable lesson (up north the hot water heaters are usually in the basement, so I never had this issue).
The fact that they walked me through instead of sending someone out to charge me shows the character of this place. If I have another problem, they'll be the first people I call. They technically weren't out here but I felt this warranted a review. Thanks again.

I called for an appointment late on the 16th and was offered the afternoon of the 17th. Dave called before arrival to confirm I was home and actually got here a little early. Didn't waste time...showed me the problems, explained the repair, quoted the price and quickly did the job. Very professional, very polite and eager to share ways to save money. I will definitely use West a Plumbing again.

Water was backing up into my tub and toilet so I called West for assistance. When I called at 9:30, they didn't have any appointments available. I was given the choice of paying the 5:00 after hours amount or waiting until Monday. I knew I couldn't wait until Monday, so I took the after hours appointment. Within a half hour, the receptionist called back and told me she could send someone between 1 PM and 3 PM. Of course I took that appointment. At 1:30, their technician Brett called and told me he was on his way.
When he arrived he assessed the problem and did some checking and gave me a thorough report of the problem, he drew a picture of what was happening and gave me some choices, After we discussed the plan, he completed the work in a timely manner. He was personable, knowledgeable and seemed to care about my sewer problem.

Setting an appointment was very easy and prompt. The technician was very punctual when coming to the scheduled appointment. They looked at the work that needed to be performed and gave a quote within 5 minutes. Based on the research I did before they came to my house, it seemed to be a very fair price for what was being done. Scott let me look over his shoulder the whole time when he was working on the outside faucet and under the sink. He explained every step of the way when working on the two issues I had with the plumbing. Scott was very professional and exact when doing his work. I am a very detailed oriented person, so I liked that he made sure the outside faucet was sitting perfectly centered. He also went the extra mile to make sure the faucet was anchored to the wall and would not move when using the water hose. I strongly recommend West Plumbing to have any work done on your home. West Plumbing did excellent work at a very fair price.

Two workers from West Plumbing came to examine the plumbing in the house. They gave us a ballpark time of arrival of sometime after 3 PM. I prefer a more specific time. But, they arrived at about 3:45 PM, as I recall. So, we did not have to wait too long. They had been on other jobs earlier in the day, and looked like it. I guess if they had come in looking very clean I might have wondered about them. They told me they had been under three houses that day. Before entering the house, they put "booties" over their shoes so as not to mess up the house. They were very thorough. They took time to explain various things about the plumbing. The only problem we had was that the water in the toilet tanks was a little low in both bathrooms, and giving us some trouble flushing. They made a few small adjustments and solved the problem quickly. This was a one-time visit to do a full-house plumbing inspection with a one-time payment. We felt that this was a good deal.

Every word of my encounter with West Plumbing was completed, they were on time, they called prior to coming to inform me in advance & validate the appointment. The price was fair, they did the work & cleaned up the area. I am a single female, I know I paid for services rendered although peace of mind goes a long way as well.

"I apologize that our technician repeatedly pushed a water extraction company. Water extraction companies were paying referral fees directly to our technicians but because of repeated complaints of this nature, we implemented a policy over a year ago that no longer allows employees to receive these referral fees or kick backs of any kind. We will still offer a referral of a water extraction company if we feel their services may be required but rest assured, our technician has no monetary purpose in doing so. Your work was scheduled for and completed on February 7, 2013 in which we repaired a leak at your water heater as well as a leak at your kitchen sink. The total charge for these repairs was $217.41. Called on a Sunday and was able to get worked in that day. Because we have a lifetime membership we didn't have to pay the after hours fee. Scott came out and snaked the line several times and was able to determine that the septic tank was full and that we would need a different company to drain it.
He was professional and very friendly, arrived at the time he said he would and did a thorough inspection and everything he could do to try and solve the issue.

We've had trouble with the disposal leaking since our new kitchen counter had been installed. The counter had been cut about 1/4 off center where the sink was to be placed. In order to make up for the difference, hubby had tried to attach the plumbing properly, but where the pipes came together, the tightening of the joint was a little crooked. The weekend before the plumber came, our kitchen had a strange odor, and when we looked under the sink, and saw that the garbage disposal had sprung a large leak. After cleaning up the damage, we registered onto Angie's List and found West Plumbing had received outstanding ratings. When we called West Plumbing, the receptionist was very courteous, and she told us weekend rates would be higher. So, we decided to make an appointment with them for Monday morning, and not use that side of the sink in the meantime.
On Monday, their plumber called to let us know he would arrive 10 minutes early. The quote that had been given us over the phone was $85, but after looking at the difficulty of the job and having to get different sizes of pipes, including a right angle pipe, he warned us the cost would be a little higher before continuing. We didn't mind paying the extra money because we knew he would fix the problem once and for all. We thought that the price was very fair and reasonable, even below what we had expected. We thought surely a job like that would have cost at least $350.
We had a new kitten who loved to get into everything, and she had gotten away from me while I was watching the work in progress. I warned the plumber that she was a little wild and might scratch him. He said he didn't mind, he liked cats. He reached over and petted her, and from then on, they were the best of friends. Now that's what I call a really great service call!

West came out the week before and gave me a quote to install a new A O Smith hot water tank. Having done my research, I knew that the price they quoted was a good one. The came out on the scheduled day of the install, and they came on time. The serviceman who did the install was very professional and courteous. I will use West Plumbing in the future.

Scott came out and gave us a very thorough estimate. We decided to go with West plumbing and scheduled for the work to be done before Scott left. Dan and Eli came out on May 2 and got right to work. Within a few hours Dan and Eli had the old drain and water lines out and new ones rerouted. These guys were very professional and courteous. Any questions or concerns I had, they took the time to answer them. Thank you all for the good job.

the employees were very respectable, punctual and professional. they call to let you know when they will be arriving and arrived in that time. they stated the problem, came in and repaired it and were gone within twenty minutes. I am happy with this company and plan on using them whenever there is a plumbing problem.

It was great. The plumbers were very nice and the lady who handles all the appointments was super nice! My only problem was they had to call an electrian out to help and he was unprofessional and smoking in front of my house. Tat shouldn't be held against them just make sure they call out a good, respectable electrian out if you need it.

Contacted West Plumbing via their website on Sunday night and received a call and service visit first thing on Monday morning. They came out to check the upstairs toilet & shower drains in my new house that we are having issues with and wanted more information before confronting another plumber who did the original work. They inspected the pipes with a small video camera, provided an assessment of the issue and recommended solution. They explained the existing building codes and best practices on how things should work and were great.
