I have been using them before I know anything about Angie’s List.  They do what they say.  They keep the equipment in good order.  I had them many times and I think their price is reasonable.  They are good people.  They are always friendly.  Their work is good.  I have been using them for 15 years so I really like them.

Several other HVAC contractors told me they could not find or rewire the circuit board. They said I would need to replace the Air Handler, at a cost of anywhere from $2,600 to $2,900. Zachary Collins, the Pro Aire technician, looked at my problem and said he could rewire the board. Not only that, he was the only technician who came that discovered a failed condensation pump that was broken, was underwater and was not grounded when it was installed. This was a dangerous situation.Mr. Collins fixed my A/C problem, got it running perfectly and even came back later that evening (after returning home in Warner Robins) to make a final adjustment. His excellent work saved me about $2,300. Mr Collins is one of the brightest and most professional technicians I have ever dealt with. He is typical of the all the employees of Pro Aire. I would not use or recommend anyone else for HVAC needs.

The 2nd floor system had been running higher than normal temperature for well over a year which indicated that there was not a freon leak since the system would have been very low at this point instead of only 1 LB out of 4 plus LBS total. The 2nd floor fan unit had been produced in May 2013 and installed later that year and there was no evidence of a leak at the exterior unit. The conclusion was that the freon level was not correctly performed when the fan unit was installed since it can vary when a different brand of fan unit (Amana) is used than the exterior unit brand (Trane). Learned that in the past Amana has had many lawsuits from using evaporator cores with thin wall copper coils and the new refrigerant (almost twice the pressure of the R-22). However in this case the evaporator core was recent enough to be made of the new style (all aluminum) core with thicker walls and therefore would provide service for many years. The technician was very courteous, dressed clean with a company shirt, took his shoes off before entering the house (they plan on using shoe covers in the future), answered all questions with an uncommonly high degree of knowledge about the industry, installation, and problem solving.

Very courteous, prompt and efficient. The owner, while here for an estimate, even asked to stop for a minute so he could help my female neighbor load an old freezer onto a trailer! New system is obviously sized well, as evidenced by the huge drop in my electric bill (yes, the old one was very old and falling apart).

Early this summer, I noticed a noise coming from the unit in the crawlspace. On one of the hottest days of the year, they managed to send someone out to check it that day. Critters in the crawlspace was what it was...not anything they did. All is fine now!
