They are always great. They are nice and very professional. It is a little pricey but you are paying for high level service basically. They charge you depending on what you are getting done and the car too because I have a Tundra and a Highlander. The highlander is a little bit cheaper because I don't have to use as much gas, oil or things like that.

I don't like to wait so I arrvied 1/2 hour before they were scheduled to open. Two minutes later the Service Reps began to arrive and quickly began processing my vehicle. They estimated it would take about 1/2 hour. They were very polite and friendly. I waited in the lobby in which the snack bar had fresh coffee ready. Sat back and watched the news, drank my coffee and 25 minutes later my vehicle was ready to go. Ahead of schedule and I was actually on my way before they were scheduled to open. Good start to a good day.

Okay, this is a mixed review. I had taken the car in for an oil change about 6 months ago, and when I came back to get it, they told me it needed a new water pump. I declined at the time, and did not think I really had a leak. Well, I was driving the car about 6 months later, and it started making a noise under the hood. I drove the car to the dealership, and just barely made it, as the car showed a large puddle of antifreeze on the ground when they moved it from the area I dropped it off at, to take it to the service area. I was kind of humbled by this, since they had warned me earlier that the pump could go out at any time. They graciously provided me with a rental car at no charge to drive until the repair could be finished, but then they called me to say that the belt had been frayed, and worked its way into the air conditioning unit, rendering it useless and basically destroying the a/c compressor. They quoted the repair at 2,500 dollars. Yes, that is right, 2,500 dollars. I quickly called a company that specializes in a/c automotive repair, and they quoted me 895 dollars. I then called the dealership back, and told them to just finish the waterpump repair, and I would take the car elsewhere to get the a/c fixed. They did, and I took the car home, expecting to take it the next day to the other repair shop. Lo and behold, the air conditioner was working fine. It has now been 3 weeks, and the air conditoner is still working fine.
Although I was wrong about the water pump, I feel that they may have been trying to take me for a sucker with the air conditoner thing.

After taking my car off the tow truck and purchasing the new tire I waited an hour. I checked to see how much longer the service would take and was told I had one person ahead of me. After almost another 45 minutes and seeing other cars come and go for service I asked once again how long before my tire installation would be complete. The service man said he would check. He came back and told me that they had put my car in back and it had been forgotten about. Come to find out the service man didn't follow procedure so the mechanics were never aware that my car was even there. When one of the mechanics came up front to delivery some other documents the salesman told him about my car needing a new tire and where it was located out back and the mechanic turned and asked me if he could borrow my jack from my car because he didn't know where the mobile jack was. After getting angry for being forgotten about and being asked to borrow my own jack when I was in a certified Toyota service department my tire was finally replaced. I was not offered any sort of compensation for my unprofessional service experience or excessive wait time.

To understand my opinion of the tactics of the sales staff at Lowe Toyota, you need to know that I am diabetic and when low blood sugar sets in, you are confused, irritable, and can pass out and go into diabetic shock. After about an hour of test driving several cars, I was directed to the sales office where I took a seat. It had been about 7 or 8 hours since I had last eaten. I explained to the sales person that I was diabetic and needed to leave to get something to eat. He told me to keep seated, that it would only be about 10 more minutes. I don't know how much time passed. The next day I remembered that I was babbling on about stuff that happened to me in high school 35 years ago. He and his sales manager kept hammering on me about the sale. I signed whatever they put in front of me. At one point, near the end of the session, the salesman was visably shaken when he came into the room and looked at me. I don't know what he saw, but he came back in just a few minutes with a candy bar. He said they had a diabetic customer pass out in their office a week earlier. I remember coming out of my haze in the finance manager's office when I exclaimed to him my suprise at paying sticker price for the car. He just gave me a puzzled look like I was speaking in a foreign language. The next morning when I got into my new car I was sick. I am 6'2" and could not find a comfortable position in the Toyota Camry. It gets worse every time I drive it, because it was such a devious way to do a deal - and they knew how impaired a crashing diabetic can be. I did not have the will or sense to leave the sales office and I beat myself up for that every single time I get in that car. It is a constant reminder of my weakness and their greed.

They do a good job. I was in and out in a timely manner, about 45 minutes this past time. The service seemed good to me. They cleaned my car out thoroughly as well. Their prices are reasonable. Their manager's professionalism is top notch.
