Good place to shop.

Measured my home to replace 9 windows with vinyl double hung windows. The windows chosen provided both sashes to operate and tilt in; Fusion-welded sashes and frame; Insulated glass panels with Low-E Glass and Argon gas; Half screen; Dual push button night latches; Interlocking sash; Rubber bulb seal; and Lifetime glass breakage warranty. Although his estimate was in the ball park we chose to go with another company that seemed to provide the same quality of window but was a few hundred dollars cheaper.

Mr. Angel was punctual on arriving at my home. He was professional looking and listened carefully as I explained what the requirements of my roofing project were. After completing his measurements, he clearly explained all work he planned to perform. He provided a tick off sheet estimate of the actions his company would perform.
Unfortunately when I compared his final cost with the other five estimates I had obtained, I decided to exclude his estimate. His final cost was the highest of all six estimates.

The company that subcontracted the heating and air conditioning work explained everything fully and completely; they even gave us a heads up on a pending problem we may have if a future portion of the work to be done by another contractor is not done correctly. It was a fast turnaround; they were done within 3 days. They were very friendly and were in an out in a hurry. They were very comprehensive and did not try to sell me something that was not necessary for me. They also did not try a major upsell which would have included other things that I am not interested in.

poor. Sent the estimator out on a Monday (actually the saturday, but he didnt show). Waited until the following Friday, still heard nothing, so we went to the store. They hadnt even started it yet. Gave us an estimate of $2,000 (cheaper tiles too!), now remember the floor is 12 x 9. Apparently they only use solid gold grout (sarcasim), needless to say we didnt use them, however we are still out the $35 for the quote. i think that is their motive, get all the $35 they can, because no one can afford their prices. That is the problem with the economy today, too many are trying to get way too much too fast, when they would make more if they were more reasonable.
