GKR managed my property for 8 years. Recently I switched to Fickling & Co to manage my property. That is when I found out the GKR was collecting rent but not holding tenants accountable for damage to my property. $2,500 in damages. Holes in sheetrock, damaged garage entry keypad, damaged flooring, landscaping not kept up, water damage that caused damage over time, pets chewed window stools, broken folding door.
When I confronted both property management and Gwen Giles, Broker about the damage they talked over me, said I was non-responsive, stated they didn't know when the damage happened, and refused to pay for the damages. One would think they would have documentation showing the state of the property over the years. I provided them with pictures of the property when I turned the property and the state of the property taken by Fickling & Company when they took over. GKR is in denial and states none of this is true.
