I listed a house I own in Cochran, GA which is where my mother lived until her recent passing. I went with Coldwell Banker because I live in Florida and wanted to deal with a national firm. I chose realtor Dee Bunn at random since I don't know anyone who works there. Dee was extremely helpful in finding great people with good reputations for me to hire to make repairs on the house and paint it to get it ready for market. They did an incredible job for a very fair price, and finished the work quickly. Dee was also great at keeping me from going overboard with improvements that probably were not necessary for the house to show well enough for it's modest asking price. The house has been for sale for about a month now and I have had no offers, and I will update my review when the house is sold. The $4,000 figure above is the estimated commission once the house sells.
