Worked fine for a minute. When used later that day, it started smoking and set off alarms. When I called Mr Jones, he blew it off and said that happens. He did not return or offer to fix.

Our freezer stopped working one night, and everything began to thaw.... Immediately, visions of replacing the $1,500 unit crashed around inside my head. We called Appliance Mart, who came out right away. A minimum $50 charge applied for arriving at the mechanical patient's bedside. Still, that's not bad compared to Sears, who charges $125 to show up. Appliance Mart could have installed a compressor in addition to the parts which actually needed repair, but they only replaced the broken fan and icemaker valve. While they were fixing the freezer, my wife turned on the oven to bake some potatoes, only to find sparks shooting from the element! This was not a good appliance day for her, to say the least. Appliance Mart waived the $50 minimum fee for the oven repair, and returned on the same day they located a replacement part. Not bad. These guys are fair, considerate and professional.
