Contractor failed to show at scheduled day and time. Contractor rescheduled for the next day for the AM timeframe but didn't show until the PM timeframe and only after repeated phone calls. Contractor's equipement broke and they requested early cash payment in order to get equipment fixed. They did return after the equipment was repaired to complete the tree trimming but left the site will all debris still on the ground. We tried for two days after to get them to come back and clean up, but they did not answer any phone calls. We had to cut up and remove all debris on our own. This contractor violated his contract and I'm sorry I ever entered an agreement with him. In addtion he brought small children with him to perform some of the tree cutting work! There has to be a insurance vilolation there. I'm indicating the actual cost was lower than the estimate only becuase I will not pay him the balance on the contract as he did not complete the work.
