Roosevelt's Little White House Historic Site

Everything was great. They had the building unlocked and we had no drama. They know us pretty well, because we live like two miles out of the park. But everything about it was great. They only hiccup we've ever had with them is when we rented their cabin. I lost old debit card, so I had a new one. They wanted to mail my refund back, from where I cancelled the reservation of the cabin and it took six weeks and nobody could tell me anything. And every time I called, I got a different answer about how long it was going to take for this payment to come back. Now, this is not a local problem. This was a reservation problem. You can rent at the local level. You can also go online and you can call. But the problem was with them. I cancelled the reservation in the beginning of December. And last week is when I got my refund. But it was not the local issue. It was the 1-800 issue, where they do the reservations. The local is very nice,  very sweet. Everything is right on point. I've actually seen them around town. They patrol the park really well. They actually found a sinkhole and they blocked it off so nobody would have a problem with it. My husband and I drive through the park and if there are any trees that are down, blocking the road, it is gone. There's only been one or two experiences out of ten years where there was a tree in my way, when I drove through the park. They are extremely on their A game.
