Angie's list, I was using Top Dog before I saw that she was listed here and have been very happy with her services. It's a difficult thing to allow someone inside your home when you're not there, but I have not had any issues with Top Dog for the over 5 years that I've been using their services. Christina has taken good care of four large dogs (mostly German Shepherds) and a couple of cats for us through the years and I continue to use her. I saw a review made in 2016 where someone was complaining about her house key not returned, and for this, she gave Christina an F rating. Reviews are powerful things, and I don't think it was fair for this person to give her such a rating for a key that that was returned late, in the reviewer's opinion. Were her animals looked for properly? Was she missing anything from her house after the visit? Nothing was mentioned about these things. The reviewer was just getting her panties in a wad over a late-returned key. So, the reviewer spitefully gives Christina an F rating and says she won't hire her again. She can't say anything about the treatment of her animals, but rants about a key. Reviewer, you sound like the customer from ****, and I bet she wouldn't want to work for you anyway. And no, I'm not a close friend of Christina or a relative. I'm just a customer who hates seeing someone who is doing a good job get crucified in a review. Let me tell you how good Christina is. I have a reactive big dog, (not a German Shepherd, but one just as large) who is protective of our property and generally doesn't like people to come to our house. I made arrangements with Christina to meet my dog a couple of times until he got familiar with him. We even ran a test where Christina came into the house while I was outside and away from the dog. She took him out of his crate, fed him, and generally played with him. We were able to leave him for a week under her care without any worries after that. Yes, I paid her for her time doing this, but I would not expect someone to come out to help me with my dog to do it for free. She has a business and I want her to stay in business. People have to earn my trust, so it was difficult for me to allow anyone into my house when I wasn't there, especially to take care of my most precious assets, my animals. But, after all these years, I totally trust Christina. Angie's List, if anyone want's to hear more from me directly, give them my email.

Christina the owner, either keeps pet owners keys forever, "on file" or charges you $10.00 to give you your key back. Your own key, to your home, that you already paid for once. I find this absurd! I question why she would need to keep a key for every home that she has ever pet sat for. When I requested my key be returned she told she would bring it by within the hour. Several hours later, I received a text saying that she had to locate it. My key was not returned until days later.

You could not ask for a better setters. All the animals love her. I have used her many times and never had any trouble. I will only use Top Dog from now on.

When we initially met Christina, we were very impressed. She took time to and quot;meetand quot; our cats and get to know them. Even our one fraidy cat, who hides from everybody, came out to greet Christina. By the time we left to go on vacation, we were very comfortable leaving knowing she would be taking care of our and quot;babies.and quot;
Christina came to the house twice per day for four days to feed the cats, clean the litter box, take in the mail, etc. She left us emails daily, with pictures, giving us status details on how they were doing. She not only fed the cats, but also took time to play with them and the pictures were a good indicator that they were doing just fine. When we returned, everything had been taken care of. She had not only fed the cats, but washed the cat bowls after every use and took the litter box leavings out of the house for us. She even brought our curb-side garbage can back into the garage for us. We returned very late in the evening, and Christina had left a light on for us (she said she would leave alternate lights on after her evening visits to give the appearance of somebody being home, and evidently, this is exactly what she did). She even left our kitties a toy on her last visit (which they enjoy very much).
I would have no qualms about leaving our cats in the care of Top Dog Pet Sitters in the future. They did a top-notch job and we were extremely pleased with their service. We have finally found a pet sitting service we like and trust!
