We were assigned Mary Whitson as our agent. We were moving from out of state and had never purchased a house already built, so that was a new experience for us. Mary was patient as we spent one day looking just to be looking. Our house had not sold, so we weren't really ready to buy. Seven months later we had a contract on our house, so contacted Mary. She immediately started sending possible homes within our price range and criteria. We made 4 trips to Vidalia before finding a house. Mary cheerfully spent 1-2 days with us on each trip. She not only pointed out good points in the homes, but would bring possible problems to our attention. We communicated through email every week between visits. She walked us through the entire process, providing us with a list of contacts for lawyers, contractors, etc.
We don't plan to move again, but if we did, we would call Mary Whitson. I consider her as our first friend in Vidalia.
