Sunrise answered the phone. Since it was late Friday afternoon and it wasn't an emergency, she said the owner would call back Monday. He did. He quoted me the price ($20 less than the other quote) and said he was on his way. When he arrived he was ready to fix the problem, but since I had been having trouble with the timer for some time, he quoted me a price for a new timer box, which I accepted. So he installed it. As he tested the system he also noticed that one of the sprinkler heads had a leak and was pooling water. So he replaced that, in spite of the fact it was pouring rain outside. We also are getting a quote for an upgrade to our current irrigation system.
All in all, he was prompt, friendly, professional. As far as price, I don't know if what we paid was a competitive price or not, but I'm satisfied. He said he has been in the business for 30yrs, and he stated that in most cases he tries to get to the person the same day of the call. When the need arises, I will use his services again.
