-Would not bring contract out before work started. Multiple requests for the contract to be brought out resulted in a variety of different excuses. Prior to work, a price of $6000 was agreed upon. After work was partially completed, he attempted to charge $7000.
-Painting on side of the cabinet not completed. Towel bar was put poorly behind door, which prevents the door from fully being opened.
-My husband and I have used Ed in the past, so we thought we could trust him. My husband has been out of town for work, so I feel that I was taken advantage of. I am at the point now where I just do not want him to come back and do the other bathroom because he will continue to charge me more than what was previously agreed upon.

In a nutshell, ill prepared, without the proper equipment, lacking discipline and expensive. On the whole their work is unsatisfactory by any reasonable definition. The only exception; the gentleman that repaired the siding. HE did excellent work.
I contracted Mand M Associates to repair damaged siding and paint the exterior of the house in September 2013. The work was scheduled for the last week in September. I made a special point of mentioning removing the gutters and painting the fascia board behind them. All the trim and windows were to be included. It was clearly understood that there was a very strict schedule and the work had to be completed within a certain time frame. It rained the day work was to begin. The next day was overcast and rain was forecast but cleared up in the afternoon. Mand M’s crew lost another day with the excuse it was too wet to pressure wash! When they did show up, they were ill prepared, did not have the proper equipment (ladders), and used my house to train a new employee how to pressure wash. Not very successfully. I knew I was in trouble when it became obvious these guys were more interested in smoking, chatting amongst themselves, and talking on the cell phone. This scenario was repeated until I was forced to leave them unattended despite having pushed off the departure by a day. A week later I received some low resolution images via e-mail along with a balance due invoice for the job. Not having the opportunity to personally inspect the work, I paid. BIG MISTAKE.
Returning a month later areas that required rework were identified, including an area above a second floor window that was completely overlooked. The gutters had not been removed and the fascia board was not painted. I notified Mand M and was told it would be addressed right away except for the gutters and fascia. Mand M and I had already exchanged e-mails regarding the gutters. Mand M claimed that was never part of the deal. Mand M was contacted again in November and the following January with requests to address the areas that had been overlooked or needed rework.
In March 2014 the decision was made to put the house up for sale. Full disclosure required my pointing out the areas that still needed to be addressed by Mand M. While doing our walk around it was also observed that some areas of the house appeared to have been painted using two different paint textures, and some areas were “chalky”. The agent - a well respected member of the Real Estate community - volunteered to have a discussion with Mand M, and did, without result. He “got every excuse in the book” as explanation for not completing the job satisfactorily and no acceptable reason for the poor quality workmanship. It is now April 2014 and the work still has not been done.
Would I hire them again? NO. Would I recommend them? NO! If you do hire Mand M, plan on supervising 100%
of the time and inspect the work closely.

"[member name removed] lives in Texas and has a property here in Georgia. A few months before September 2013, He contacted me to give him a quote to repair siding and paint the house here in Valdosta, GA. I looked at the property and sent him a quote. Prior to September he has called giving me the contract. So for him to say I was expensive is outrageous because he had other estimates prior to giving me the contract. We scheduled for late September because he was coming from Texas and wanted to be there for the work. The job consisted of pressure washing the house, replacing severely damaged siding and soffit throughout the house, paint body and trim, and paint shutters. The job was to consist of 6 days of work. [member name removed] arrived on the scheduled date. On the date scheduled to start the work we had rain and it rained for 2 ½ days after his arrival. The customer was unhappy because we were unable to pressure wash and start the work on the house in the rain on the date scheduled and he was only going to be in town for 6 days only. We started the work on the 3rd day and [member name removed] was there throughout the whole 3 days. At that time he had to leave back to Texas and informed me that his neighbor, across the street from the house, would be overseeing the work and inspects it upon completion. When the neighbor inspected the house he was so delighted in the quality of our work, he contracted us to paint his house and perform some additional work. While we were working at [member name removed]'s neighbor’s house, [member name removed] arrived at his house to meet with the window contractors. After the window installation was completed, we touched up around the “new” windows for him at no additional charge and did a walk around inspection with the owner himself with no complaints. Five months later, I get a phone call from [member name removed]'s realtor asking if I could meet with him because he had questions about the house. I meet with the realtor at time which I noticed yard work was done, squirrels or rodents had eaten some areas of siding and they wanted me to fix the damage at no charge. Unfortunately, no matter how hard you try, there are just some customers that you can NEVER satisfy. I believe a picture is worth a thousand words. If you want to see the pictures yourself, please go the link below and you be the judge. By the way, these are the picture I sent [member name removed] upon completion in which he states are “Low resolution”. [hyperlink removed] or [hyperlink removed] or [hyperlink removed]"

I contracted Mand M Associates to paint the exterior of my house around the start of June 2011. It took a week or so to have a man come look at the house to begin the prep work (pressure wash, replace facia that needed it, etc.). He did a little of the facia replacement and left to get materials and tools he didn't have with him. He never returned. After more time, the contractor came with 2 more workers. The prep work was done and painting begun. The workers did not show up every day. There were other jobs out of town that were more pressing than mine, according to the contractor. I also wanted a door that is never used taken out and covered with the siding. He had forgotten that and I had to pay extra for this when it was originally included with the first estimate. I had to buy the siding. The inside wall where the door was taken out looks very bad. The workers did not plan nor execute patching the wall correctly. The contractor said he would come fix it himself. He did not. He never came back. The whole experience from first contact until the house painting was completed took over 3 months! It caused me considerable aggrevation and distress.
The contractor did work with me on price originally and allowed me to pay the balance due over 6 months. The painting of the house itself looks very good and very professional. The time it took to complete the job was totally unreasonable.

"The job was not $3000 I was hired to pressure wash and paint the exterior of the house. The Job began by pressure washing and the rest of the week was raining which began the delay in painting. Once we arrived to paint, he did not have the paint color and gave me a color number to go to Lowes to retrieve the color for him, then he deided he did not like the color, and then gave me 18 other color codes expecting me to purchase so he can decided what dolor he wanted, Delay #2, Then there was additional work he wanted done which was to remove the old rotting wood which was never discussed in the work to be performed, which I told him if he bought the wood I would replace it for him at no charged which caused ANOTHER delay. The painted then started, he wanted to Then remove a door and replace it with siding which I also told him if he bought the siding I would replace it at NO CHARGE which caused again another delay. Once the job was finished and painted, this man said he has no money and asked to make payments, at which time I agreed for him 200 a month payment, interest free and it took him 3 months before he made his first payment, complaining that the job was not completed. The additional work which he was not charged for he complained was not completed stating that we were to dispose of the rotted wood and the door. This Man is IMPOSSIBLE to work for, I would NEVER do any work for him again and all other contractors should run if they hear his name."

I have a spare room which needed some work before my son came home for his visit from the Marines. They were called and immediately came out for a free estimate, at my convience which means allot. Mr Morgalo discussed the project I wanted done, gave me an estimate lower than my budget and was able to start the project immediately, it took no longer then 3 days to complete the whole project.
I am very happy with the work performed. Mr Morgalo has a great personality and a pleasure to have meet him. I most certainly will be calling them for all my projects!
