I called and a person answered at night and said, ?oh yea, we?ll let them know immediately!? The next thing I knew the owner called me. He said, ?my two technicians are out there on a delivery, so don?t be surprised if you see a van pulling at your driveway!? He said, ?I?m going to come myself!? He did! He cared enough to come immediately instead of just telling the guys, ?come when you get fixed, I have another one for you to go to!? What stood out the most was that they actually care about their clients.

Up until that date I had them come and repair my A/C which was, how you put it; when you have a house or an apartment the A/C unit has to be big enough to blow enough cold air or hot air to keep the house comfortable. The contractor had built my house and put one in that was just barely enough. As it got older, it couldn?t keep up. I?ve used Rowe all the time because they came immediately. They were very understanding. I mean as far as, ?I can pay you half today and another half the end of next week when I get paid!? They said, ?we?re fine with that!? I finally called them a couple of years ago and said, ?let?s just change the whole thing. They came out immediately and did a really good job and I haven?t had an A?C problem every since.
I don?t know what they charged me. I know it wasn?t cheap because those units go by tons; I don?t know if it?s tons of air or of how much it weights. Suppose I needed a 3-ton unit for the house, I told him, ?you know what, give me a 3 ½ ton!? He said, ?that?s a little bit more than you need!? I said, ?yea, but if I ever add on anything, I don?t have to rebuy the whole thing again!? I paid them outright and I told them, ?get rid of the old one and put that one here!? For the next 15 years I will have to see about the story. It was a bunch of money, I know. I had priced units out, I just called anonymously and they were right within the range, it was a little bit lower of the scale.
It was an easy sell. My old machine kept gearing up on me just about every 6 months. This was on going for several years. That?s when I finally got fed up with fixing it. They have not been back since because they got me a good machine powerful enough to give what I need, and it?s been running great ever since.

We've used them twice. Overall, they get good ratings, but, there was a few things we didn't like as the charge was basically for labor, and the unit was still under warranty. The people that came to the house were outstanding, but, the people in the office weren't as responsive. I would use them again.

We were fortunate to experience same-day service when we called to report an A/C problem. This speedy response time is a rare occurrence in South Georgia, because our 100-degree plus temperatures keep A/C companies backlogged much of the summer. We called Rowe because they are the company that installed our system, and we felt they had the best knowledge about our system. We called on a Thursday morning. The polite technician arrived on time in a van fully loaded with all tools he needed, including a ladder which he carefully brought into our home to check the ceiling filter opening. We explained that we hear a metal scraping sound each time the fan goes off on one of our air conditioning units. The noise is heard in the home, not outside.
He said it could be one a a few problems, and said he would check the most obvious first. He removed the filter from the vent, tested the on/off fan, and determined that no noise is heard when the filter is removed. He placed the filter back in the opening, tested again, and heard the scraping noise. He determined that the system was operating properly, but the filter seemed to be the problem. We asked if there was a need for lubricants, tightening of parts, or any other remedy - he said no, that the only difficulty is that the filter needs to be replaced because it was not seating properly. He replaced the old filter with a new filter that we already had on hand, and checked the second air conditioning system filter, also replacing that filter with a filter of ours. At that point both systems were working fine. We learned that even though a filter is not yet "dirty" and needing replacement, it can become a problem when it is not properly seating.
We asked the repairman if he could take a quick look and listen for our air handlers and compressors to determine whether he could see or hear any other problems since he was already here and it might be prudent to give both systems a cursory check. He went into the attic (which had to be over 140 degrees because the outdoor temperature was 102 that day) and determined that no overt problems were evident with air handlers. He also checked the compressors outside the home. The repairman said everything is working just fine, and that if we should hear the noise again in the future, the remedy could very well could be a simple filter replacement, as the filter frames are made of cardboard and can become slightly bowed from constant upward pressure from air pulling through the vent.
The total cost was $50.00, the serviceman was thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable, he was here for only about thirty minutes, and we felt that he was very knowledgeable about A/C systems. We are pleased, and would call Rowe Air Conditioning in the future. OVERALL Experience A Price A Quality A Responsiveness A Punctuality A Professionalism A
