Hardware & Home Improvement Stores,

About us

Lowe’s has been helping customers improve the places they call home since it was founded in 1946. Traded on the New York Stock Exchange (LOW) since 1961, Lowe’s has grown from a small hardware store to a home improvement company providing customers inspiration and support whenever and wherever they shop. Whether our customers shop in store, online, by phone, or at their home or place of business with a Lowe’s employee, Lowe’s is ready to help. Lowe’s retail customers include individual homeowners and renters who complete a wide array of projects from do-it-yourself (DIY) to do-it-for-me (DIFM). Lowe’s professional customers represent approximately 30 percent of total sales and consist of two broad categories; construction and trade, and maintenance, repair and operations. Lowe’s supports the communities it serves through programs that focus on K-12 public education and community improvement projects. From the company’s signature education grant program, Lowe’s Toolbox for Education®, to Lowe’s Heroes projects supported by employee volunteers in their local communities, and the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation, Lowe’s has donated hundreds of millions of dollars and countless volunteer hours to improve communities in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Store #1794.

It went very smoothly. The guys knew what they were going, were very professional, even brought their own floor fans since it gets really warm doing such hard work. I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed. Everyday, they cleaned up after themselves from where they had to cut certain pieces to fit exactly. I am just so happy with the results! It makes a world of difference in the rooms and even our master closet looks larger. After everything was complete, we had 2 1/2 boxes of wood materials left over and a huge bag of something. I was a little confused why there was so much extra, but when I received my follow-up call a couple days after the installation was complete, I addressed this issue. They said it is typical to order 10-15% extra material, but the unopened boxes and whatever that bag was - I could simply come in and it would be refunded. So I did! And we got refunded $180. I know it is smart to keep extra flooring in case you ever need to replace a section, but our almost full opened box will suffice if god forbid that ever happens.
All-in-all, This was a great decision to add a quality update to our first home.
