Catering Service
This is more than a place to eat or shop, it is welcoming committee to Folkston Georgia. As a new member to the community and the spouse of a train watcher I felt right at home. The food was excellent, the friendship, and the warmth of the people to strangers making them truly feel at home was amazing. Trainwatchers stopped by for lunch and conversation as well as many of the local folks.They told us all about Folkston being a train watching area with the Folkston Funnel with about 60 trains a day including Amtrak and the famous Tropicana Juice Train and they said we just might see the circus train at this time of year. Right down the way is the Okefenokee Swamp National Wildlife Refuge if you get bored.

Highly recommend Whistlin Dixie to any one coming through the Folkston area, drop by it is quite an experience even if you are not a train watcher.
