Met with Chris when we were in town for the home inspection. He put us on his schedule for the first week in June (closing was the end of May). He called and confirmed that we were still on schedule and had his men on the job the Monday after closing.
Carpet, pad, and tack strips were removed. The floors were swept cleaned. Hardwood was installed and carefully cleaned. There was extra hardwood, so I had them install it in a small closet. They also replaced a bad board in the existing hardwood (I had a few pieces of that style). They were careful to clean up everything.
I was impressed with Chris and his crew. They were all very courteous and respectful. They even asked before turning on a radio and then kept it turned down so as not to be disruptive. They took pride in their work and it showed.
