My head board cracked. I took it to Williams for repair. They were recommended by a family member. They were familiar with the type of crack and how to repair. They explained the process, quoted me a price and provided a estimated timeframe for completion. They finished the repair early. Upon pick up they provided suggestions on how to setup the bed. The head board looks like it never was cracked. .Williams do excellent work at a fair price.

We have used this family owned company since 2012 and always have great results. They typically have a backlog of work and have a few weeks wait for an appointment. However they are always prompt on delivering when they estimate and well worth the wait. This time I dropped off the chair on Sept 17th at the shop for the repairs and booked delivery along with the touch-up work for a Saturday 3-4 weeks out. They delivered the chair on Oct 3rd when they performed the other services. Nathan took great patience when cleaning/buffing out the table finish damage and was able to restore the luster. All the other touch-ups were minor and performed perfectly.

Always a pleasure doing business with them and would use them again.

I inherited my great grandmother's dining room table and it had gotten broken in a move a couple of decades back.  I finally decided it was time to fix it and put it in use.   William's Furniture Repair sent me an initial basic quote over email (via sending photos of my dining set).  At that time, I agreed to move forward.  They picked up the dining table set and took the time to explain a little about the set to me as well as provide more specific options for its repair/refinish.   I provided a down-payment on the project and then the table was moved to their workshop.  Later, I was called to the workshop to choose the color of the stain as well as drop off the material for the seat covers.  A short time after this, the table was dropped back off to my house.
The table turned out beautifully.  It was amazing to have the table and chair not only be functional again, but to look amazing.  They did an excellent job so I also got a quote for my breakfast table.  This project will move forward within the year.

I had this table in storage for about 3 years after letting it stay with a family member while I lived out of state.  This table is a very expensive table from the Paris collection, and upon my return I found it to be severely damaged with deep scratches and a broken arm rest.  This family owned business really has a passion for what they do and delivering quality service.  I was very pleased with the results.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to those at Williams Furniture Repair for providing such outstanding customer service.  They were able provide an excellent re-caning job for our French chairs, as well as arm and leg repair of the same.  The ends of the chair arms had suffered scraping damage and the escargot feet had 15 years of wear and tear from a bustling kitchen environment.  They were also able to replace a missing piece of molding on a favorite coffee table. They were able to take an existing molding piece to the shop where the match was then fabricated. They were further able to repair other damage to the same coffee table after it had been dropped by our movers.  Now, one would never know that it had been damaged!  There was also damage to a French armoire during our move.  The hinges of the doors had been bent during its move and it would no longer lock.  They were able to reposition the lock so that it now catches.   They also graciously went around the house leveling furniture pieces so that doors and drawers would now function properly, diagnosing other furniture repair issues,  offering furniture care advise,  and touching up a variety of nicks and scratches.  They were most professional during their stay and went out of their way to make repairs as soon as possible in order to meet our needs, despite their over-loaded holiday schedule!  Thank you so much!  Yes, I would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough positive things about Williams Furniture Repair. Nathan Williams (the Company President) arrived on time and was very professional. He looked at the damaged pieces of furniture and agreed that he could do the repairs in our home rather than having to take anything into the shop. I had sent photos of the damage in advance of the appointment and had received a quote by email. Nathan agreed that he would be able to do the work for the amount quoted . He was a bit concerned about the three inch gouge that was missing from the top rear of our dresser and told us up front that he might not be able to make it perfect because the edge of the wood was lifted slightly. He got to work right away and after several procedures and hours of work he showed us the results. The furniture looks like brand new! Nathan even repaired a few other little dings that he noticed and did not charge extra for doing that. He was polite and professional during the entire process. You can easily see that he takes great pride in his craft and is also very good at what he does. We would definitely hire this company again in the future.

It went wonderfully well - shame on me for waiting so long to write this.
Nathan and his team are truly artists.  This furniture was all very sentimental to me and he gave it the kind of care that I hoped for but didn't quite think existed anymore.
His team was VERY responsive to my calls, scheduled an appointment and were absolutely prompt.  They are very busy with jobs (no surprise) and Nathan explained to me right up front that a quick turn around was not something he could commit to.
This was fine with me, we planned the work over several months (which had as much to do with my schedule as his) and he met every deadline.
He was fair in his request for payment (meaning that the bulk of the job was not paid until finished).  I paid by the project.  When the cost was lower for some reason he reduced the price and in the case of the additional leaf for my dining room table he couldn't find walnut veneer and so used solid walnut at no additional charge.  Nathan explained that he values a good relationship with a customer and I feel the same way.  We built up such a relationship and so my guess is the leaf was a reward for that.  I would have expected to make the choice and pay extra had this been the first vs. the final project.
I loved that he gave me his professional opinion on the my choices and made recommendations when there were unanticipated choices.  He invited me down to his shop to look at his work as part of making one decision.  In visiting his shop it was completely clear that the work he and his team do is hand craftmanship.  No shortcuts or dips here.
I marked his price as "good" meaning that it was COMPLETELY appropriate to his work.  Not a "bargain" but I don't think artistry should be a bargain.

We are very pleased with their service and the quality of their work. The furniture was returned within the time frame it was promised and the owner was a pleasure to work with. It is so nice to have our forty five year old bedroom sets looking updated and like new.

We are very pleased with the work done on our chairs. They had decades of build-up, and were verging on getting dangerous to sit on due to being rickety. They did a beautiful job, including stripping & restaining (and using a drawer to our breakfront to match the color properly), reglueing the pieces, repadding & recovering the seats (and centering the pattern beautifully without a lot of wastage, so we have leftover material to use should something get damaged later). There were a lot of nooks & crannies on these chairs, not a simple job, and they all look like new. They replaced the sliders on the legs, which I hadn't thought about. I honestly didn't price compare much, but the little I did do seemed to be about right - certainly no more expensive than brand new chairs of this quality. The only complaint was that they estimated about 8-9 weeks to completion and it took about 11-12. They were apologetic about this, and it was manageable for us. When we have saved up a bit more we intend to take in our dining table and a dresser for them to do.

These guys are true professionals.  I called looking for an estimate to refinish my table after a hot dish had bubbled up the finish, and sent over a picture.  There were 2 ways to go, depending on the amount of the damage.  They weren't sure if they needed to strip and refinish the entire table (much more expensive), or if they could correct the damaged part, and resand and buff to match.
They were very busy, so we worked on a future date where they would pick up the table, and it would only be in the shop for 2 weeks.  Nathan called in advance to confirm the time he would arrive, and showed up on time.  He is extremely knowledgeable and felt confident that they could do the lower cost (but still high quality) repair.  They were respectful of my home, careful with the table and I felt so relieved that I had made a good choice.
After they had the table for a few days, I received a call confirming that the repair was as expected, what the total amount would be, and scheduled a delivery date.  Nathan again called to confirm arrival time, brought in the table, and WOW, it looks amazing.  They did a great job with the repair, and buffed out all of the scratches from day to day use.  The finish looks great, and I will definitely use them again!!!

They have so much business. They are unique in the area. And their work is such high quality.  Thus, you understand the somewhat high price and the time it takes to get the work done.  It's a pleasure to work with them. The refinishing was just like I wanted.

They did an outstanding job. I just got the sense that this guy really cared about having everything perfect and me understanding the care of the furniture afterwards. So I was really impressed with that. I recommend them to anybody who has  valuable or antique furniture. I felt very comfortable with them handling expensive pieces of furniture. But the only thing I would say is that, because they do such a good job they take a long time.
