This had been the worst customer experience I have ever had. Absolute disaster, while the outlet had a great price the refergerator has never worked correctly, even though they assured me that the product was working and that the only issue was cosmetic. We are now almost through our six month of attempting to get the thing working right. I have contacted both the Outlet and Sears corporate service for redress of this problem. After four months of chaos I just wanted my money refunded so I could buy a refigerator that works. Sears corporate customer solutions, was a tremendous disapointment. At one point they offered me a ten dolar gift card for my inconvienience. The staff and management of the Tucker store we equally unhelpful. Apparently my time is valueless to them, since there wasnt any sense of urgency. Yes they sent out the warranty repair crew but that was the extent of thier involvement. The wrong repair parts arrived for the latest attempt to fix the problem. The repair crew has tried again so I guess we will keep our fingers crossed. I can not see how I will ever set foot into a Sears store again, much less make a purchase from them. For people looking for a positive experience buying an appliance do not go to the Tucker outlet mall. In fact I would warn you to not even consider any Sears store, since they are very unconcerned about the issues that this has caused.
Description of Work: this has been the worst experience I have ever had in 45 years. My wife and I bought a Kenmore refigerator from them on November 4th 2012. the water/ice dispenser on the door has never worked properly and the temperature control was off. We have had the Warranty repair contractor out five times to attempt to completely fix the unit and bring it to a functional state. We have had the wrong parts delivered, two diagnostics visits and one wasted day when the repair computer system went down and none of the repair crews could get appointment locations and times. We are on day five of me taking time off work for yet another repair visit. Today I was told that one of the parts delivered was wrong. the repair team ordered the door with the icemaker/water dispenser, we got the other door that has none of the broken parts. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the repairman, who has done his best to figure out a solution.
