LUKE POOL SERVICE INC

Do not use Luke pools for any of your replacement, renovation or installation projects. They do a decent job at cleaning the pool but anything above that and you’ll be very disappointed. It took Luke almost 16 months to finish our pool renovation and almost twice the quoted cost. They never even completed the project and we were ended up settling. Towards the end, Luke wouldn’t even communicate. You only talk to his wife who is unpleasant and uses every excuse in the book. Please look into other options so you don’t have to go through what we did for 16 months. Learn from our mistake of using Luke pool service. It could not have been a worse experience.

Luke pool service was the worst service I have ever had.  He would come late almost every time he was scheduled, he never stayed more than 5 minutes, maybe 10 at the max, never tested the water (at least not that I saw), didn't blow off the deck, and charged ridiculous prices when equipment repairs were needed.  He took my lights out of my pool once because they were broken...and then told me it was going to be $10,000 TO REPAIR THEM!  When i told him to put my old lights back he didn't have them anymore so he put back two old rusty lights..one was silver and the other was white!!!  can you believe that??????  it cost me real money to fix this problem, so I cancelled his service and did not pay the last bill (which was only $140).  He argued with me, and I replied telling him I would go ahead and pay the last bill, but I'm cancelling his service.  I DID pay the last bill in full.  but HE STILL SENT ME to a collection agency, and they sent me a letter saying I owed them $540.  In most cases there are two sides to every story...but trust me...this is a one-sided story...what I wrote above is factual.  Even aside from my "light" issue...these guys are horrible, never ever use them!

The company owner/operator, Luke Norris, is extremely knowledgeable. He knows a great deal about pools, equipment, chemistry, etc. However, he has terrible communication skills and is very unprofessional. He led me to believe that opening the pool for spring would be half as much as it really was (he forgot to include chemicals in the estimate). His billing was inconsistent. He wrote strange, nagging emails in the middle of the night. He frequently pestered me to purchase extra services and equipment from him, beyond the normal casual sales techniques you'd expect.
