I referred them to all my friend. They are a jewel.

I spoke with and emailed with Larry Corn.  He was very knowledgeable and has been in this industry for years.  I fell in love with this chair from a residential demolition site and took it home with me. Larry identified it as a 1940's channel back lounge chair with the Turkish look style.  He told me this style was only made for a short time.  I sent him pictures from several angles and he had a quote to me within 24 hours.  I visited the factory of Corn Upholstery and was very impressed with the quality of work they provide there.  Solid wood frames, durable lovely fabrics.  Mr. Corn helped me choose the fabric for this chair based on the fact that I have two dogs they may find their way into the chair.  
I waited a couple months to have the work done from the time he gave me the initial quote, but the quote was honored.  I choose to drop off and pick up the chair myself since I have a truck, but they do offer pickup and delivery.  The work was done in 2 weeks time and I couldn't be happier with the end result.  I have this chair with beautiful curved lines that I fell in love with in a more modern yet durable fabric that looks like tweed.
I know $900 may seem expensive, but you couldn't touch a 1940's chair like this for that amount. 

I am easily frustrated with choosing fabrics, but Mr. Corn had several in house choices. With his assistance, we came up with a great choice. The sofa was completed very quickly in around 2 weeks I believe. We waited to pick it up until the ottoman was completed. I was very impressed that they were able to design and build an ottoman with matching fabric. I have absolutely loved having the sofa and new ottoman home and am thankful for it everyday. At first I thought it was a one man shop, but they are huge. But, they provided fantastic service.

It went well. They did the work in approximately a week. It was well done. The work was of high quality.

It took a bit longer than estimated, but I am very happy with the result.

We called ahead and made an appointment to meet with the owner Larry Corn. Our leather sofa is 12 years old and we wanted to have the foam replaced in our cushions. Mr. Corn advised us to replace the foam in the seat cushions and to have the batting fluffed in the back cushions. He also said they would condition the leather for us. We dropped the cushions off in the late afternoon and they were ready the next day.
Mr. Corn stressed to us to sit on the sofa for a week and then to please let him know if we were not happy with firmness of the cushions. Corn Upholestery is not a storefront 2 man shop. It is a large company that works with interior designers and hotels. It was nice to know that such a large company is also interested in working with individual customers.

This job was small. The cushions were to be made for our new home with material we had selected at a fabric store.  After researching Angies List we found Corn Upholstry and gave them a call.  I spoke with the owner Larry Corn and he told us to bring the material and the cushions to his shop for an estimate.  When we found Corn Upholstry it was in a "slightly larger" building than I envisioned.  I assumed Mr. Corn had a storefront with a sewing machine in the back.  Instead we were in the lobby of a building with very nice leather chairs in the waiting area.  Mr. Corn came out to see us, looked at the cushions and material and gave us a few suggestions.  Then he asked if we would like to see the business.  When he took us through the doors behind the lobby we were in an area the size of an airplane hanger where workmen (craftsmen) were making furniture from the frame up.  He was making and repairing furniture of all sizes and shapes including chairs for the lobby of the Kansas City Marriott  and the Augusta Country Club.  Mr. Corn is semi retired and the business is handled by other members of his family but he certainly knows furniture and fabrics.  His tour lasted about an hour and was an enjoyable experience.  We were not in a hurry for the cushions so he told us it would be done between two larger jobs and could take about 3 weeks to schedule and finish.
In 3 weeks we received a call and picked up the cushions.  The workmanship was excellent and Mr. Corn even had a little extra stuffing added to the cushion since he felt it needed that to be more comfortable.
I will definitely return to Corn Upholstry for other furniture/upholstry work.

We love our "new" furniture! After seeing the company on Angie's List and realizing how convenient they are, I gave them a call. I spoke to the owner, Mr. Corn. He could not have been nicer or more professional. He offered to show me the uphosltery material the company keeps in stock after I told him I was unsure about fabrics. He walked me through the warehouse himself and pulled bolt after bolt of fabric, even cutting healthy samples of several for me to take home and play with. The fabric ended up being less expensive than any I saw anywhere else, and it was extremely durable - looking. Mr. Corn proudly atated that many of the fabrics his company uses are guaranteed to last for years. I received an estimate via email, agreed to the price, and scheduled a pick - up time and date. They not only picked up the furniture but returned it, too. I'm thrilled with the quality of the work! The quoted price was the total price I paid for labor, material, pick - up, and delivery. There were no surprises or hidden fees.

Mr. Larry Corn was a delight to deal with.  With his extensive knowledge of upholstry he was able to accurately diagnose the cause of our sofa's sagging -- deteriorated foam in the seat cushions rather than broken or faulty springs in the sofa itself, which we had suspected -- and then recommend an effective remedy, which he implemented at a very reasonable cost.  We also had two chair seats recovered.  Here Mr. Corn was able to use a fabric we wanted to use to match other fabric in our room, using fabric we had left-over from another piece of furniture, even though the amount we had available was quite limited, and he was able to center the pattern properly on the chair seats by cleverly stitching two pieces of the left over fabric together almost seamlessly.  Mr. Corn is a true craftsman and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

My overall experience with Corn Upholstery was fantastic! The workmanship was outstanding and the price was very reasaonable. The owner, Larry Corn, is wonderful to work with and an honorable Southern gentleman. We spoke about the repair project initial over the phone and based on that conversation Mr. Corn gave me a much higher quote. However, when I took the cushions in to be repaired he reassessed them and lowered his price. He told me the cushions were not as bad as he originally thought and did not require as much material or labor as planned. He told me he did not want to take advantage of me by charging me the higher price. He would rather do the right thing and have a satisfied customer for life as opposed to making a quick buck! How refreshing!! It is not often one encounters a man of integrity like that these days. This is a man and company you can feel good about doing business with. I highly recommend them!!!

A lot of Atlanta's top designers use them. Their prices are competitive. They are a generational family business and they have done excellent work for my customers over the years.
