They are new and they're local. They are staying up there for a day camp and they'll have a good time. They roam around with the dogs but they're staying overnight tonight and I'll pick them up tomorrow. I had really good reviews for them because we're going on vacation next week for 10 days and we're going to put them there for boarding. It was excellent. They have an excellent boarding. You can tell them how you want them to board, what kennels you want them to be in and they go to day camp. There's people on the room all the time interacting with the dogs. It's a very excellent day camp for dogs. Day camp is $10 a day and for boarding it's like about $35 for 2 days in one day. I would recommend them highly.

Yesterday I attempted to call to ask a question ALL day. No one was picking up the phone. Today, I called again most of the day. Sometimes no one would pick up, other times Jaime would pick up and say "Camp Woof, can I put you on hold?" She would not even wait for your response. She would just place you on hold. I waited almost 10 minutes each time on hold before I hung up. I want to use there facility for grooming, but how can I do that if they do not pick up their phone to answer a question!?!?!
Response from Camp Woof
"During this period of time Comcast was having service issues in our area. Only one of our four lines were working. We fought with Comcast for over a week trying to get this issue fixed. It is our policy to assist customers present in the store first over telephone calls. It is rude to have someone stand and wait for an employee to get off the telephone. We are sorry you were placed on hold."

I love using their services. The facility has the capability for the dogs to go inside and outside as they please. They have nice play sets such as ramps and hideouts to make it more entertaining for the dogs. The hours are great and they are open all days except for Thanksgiving and Christmas during the year. They are open 12 in a half hours each day. The daycare cost for the weekend is unbeatable as they charge $10.00 per dog on the weekend per day. Their staff is really great and the dogs get very excited when arriving to the facility.

I was content with my 3 older rescue dogs when my niece asked for help with an abandoned puppy in July 2013. I wasn't thrilled but shelters were flooded with dogs from people who abandon pets to go on vacation, so I kept him. He is a mixed- breed American Staffordshire Terrier (25% based on dna) which caused me some hesitation to have a and quot;bully breedand quot;, but I was determined to take all necessary steps to keep him well socialized. As soon as he was old enough (4 mos), I started taking him to Camp Woof Decatur 2-3 times a wk starting in Sept 2013. So I am reporting the latest date he went, but I have used Camp Woof many, many times.
NOTE - They are just about to close the Decatur facility and will move to Tucker (June 2014), so while this really applies to Decatur, I believe it will be as good if not even much better at the new place. Also, there is a new general manager, Jamie, and I am so happy about that big improvement in management. Jamie loves the dogs and their owners, and she makes every effort to make reasonable accommodations for the various temperaments. Every other team member I have interacted with (and I'm sorry I don't know everyone's names), has been very helpful about providing feedback on my dog's care and development. The Camp Cams don't require complicated add-on's to view online, and it's great to be able to take a and quot;snapshotand quot; while I'm at work. Reasons I gave a and quot;Band quot; instead of an and quot;Aand quot; on quality is because one camera has been fuzzy for a long, long time, and I wish they had more objects like plastic picnic tables for the dogs to jump/ lounge on and maybe some doggie cots, etc. I also cannot see the entire play area. But no matter what, my dog is very happy and comes home very tired. They do have a separate cage for small or shy dogs, but it would be nice if there was also a way to segment boisterous/young/playful dogs from the older/sedate and less playful dogs. Currently my dog has two and quot;girlfriendsand quot; (of course he is neutered)- a big German Shepherd and an even bigger Great Dane, but he sometimes has to go to and quot;timeoutand quot; when there aren't equally enthusiastic canines there that day. Doggie Daycare is SO much cheaper than an emergency vet bill to retrieve a shard of my chewed-up reading glasses.
I have never used their grooming services or overnight daycare, but I would not hesitate to do so. Even though Tucker is out of the way, I understand that Luna and Alishka will be going there, so how could I refuse him the great happiness??

Had problem with the bill which was straightened out. Pet was anxious to leave and did not want to go back. He is skittish around other dogs and I think it was close quarters.
Response from Camp Woof
"I am sorry that this customer feels our price was too high and rated us a "C". We are the lowest priced dog boarding facility in the metro Atlanta area that offers free roaming with boarding. All of our competitors are $3.00-$8.00 a day more than we are. Many dogs are not socialized and are skittish around other animals or humans that they do not know. Our kennels are 3 feet by 5 feet and 6 feet tall. The dogs are not crated but are in professional kennel runs. Perhaps this customer should have a pet sitter come to there home rather than using a boarding facility. As for our professionalism and quality, I am sorry this customer felt this way as no management was ever notified."

My dog really enjoys going to Camp Woof. In fact, she will cry when she comes home because I took her away from her doggie friends! And she gets excited when she knows we are headed there. She used to be a very shy dog and this is helping her get out of her shell more!
Response from Camp Woof

They offer boarding plus doggy day care during the day so it is not just a kennel. We compared them to others but they did not have doggy day care; so my dog would just sit in a kennel all day. We wanted the doggy day care for our dog. The employees seemed very concerned, asked questions and seemed to like my dog.
Response from Camp Woof
"Thank you for your kind words. We strive to provide a quality service at a good price."

Our 12-year-old German Shepherd had to be euthanized several weeks ago. We had only used a small fraction of the boarding package for which we paid over $600. Today my wife stopped by Camp Woof to ask for a refund of the remaining amount. The manager told her that the owner has a policy of no refunds. We are utterly amazed at the insensitivity this policy shows. Angie's List members can draw their own conclusions, but be warned that if you prepay, there are no refunds for any reason, even if your pet is no longer alive.
Response from Camp Woof
"Packages are sold so that our customers can benefit from drastically discounted boarding and daycare rates. We offer these packages and advise the customers at the time of purchase that there is a no refund policy, however, the remaining days available may be transferred to another dog in the family. These days never expire. I am sorry that the customer is not happy with our policy, however it is nothing different than a no refund policy on an airplane ticket or a hotel room deposit."

Great experience! No problems dropping off my little buddy; it was his first time at a day boarders. They let me know when I picked him up how his day went and whether he seemed to like it or was nervous meeting new dogs and all, which he was. He obviously had a good bath and had the breakfast and snacks I had brought for him. He seemed happy and tuckered out after his full day.

Response from Camp Woof
"We are the lowest priced free roaming facility in the Atlanta area. I am sorry you think our price is to high. Our competitors charge $5-$8 a night more for boarding than we do! We are also open 365 days a year for drop off and pick up thus saving an extra night of boarding cost to most of our customers."

This company is rated the number one dog care facility in Atlanta. I totally agree with that. They are so professional and so caring about everything that they do with the animals. They are clean and there is never a huge charge either. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

In hindsight, I should have asked better questions. Had I done that, I would have chosen another kennel. Despite the shortcomings, the staff was quite friendly, for what it's worth.
Response from Camp Woof
"We have not had any down time on our web cams for many years. The images are uploaded through the internet so if Comcast was having a service issue (which happens quite often), the images would not get to our website for viewing. Also, you must be on a Microsoft product as Active-X is a requirement for viewing. If you tried to view on an Apple product, the web cams would not work for you. As far as the food issue goes, I am not sure why the remaining product was not returned to you. If you would have notified a manager, we could have investigated and given you credit for the missing food. I can assure you your dog was taken care of as if he was our own."

The people at Camp Woof are true animal lovers. They treated my small dog with great care and he got two ribbons on his first day of daycare; one for having a good first day at daycare and one for being the best kisser! They were happy when he arrived and welcomed him back for daycare. Great place for dogs and cats!

The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly. My dog is always nervous when I leave her to board, but she actually went out to play and seemed relaxed. I would definitely use them again.

We have been taking our pug to Camp Woof for over 3 years now- sometimes just for a day for playtime, sometimes for boarding when we are out of town. The staff is fantastic, always remembering us and our dog. Our dog is very excited when we pull up and this is the only place where our dog drags us up to the door and scratches at the door to get inside- a wonderful sign. Our dog recently had joint surgery. After the initial 3 months recovery, we brought him in a few times to get some exercise and social time with other dogs. They took special care to watch him, give downtime when needed, and keep us well-informed of any issues. When we have asked for advice, they have given great information. When we've needed referrals, they've connected us with some of the finest pet healthcare people and trainers we could hope for. The facility is wonderful- always clean when I've been there. These people obviously love animals and have their clients' best interests at heart.

The staff is very nice and the facility looks great. My dog came back in good spirits, though a bit worn out from all of the activity. The prices were good (better than our vet's kennel) at only $25/night plus $25 for the bath. My only complaint would be that I didn't like the way the shampoo smelled and that our crate padding came back smelling of urine. I was not told that our dog peed in her crate and that is not something she has ever done before.

ONE OF MY DOGS WAS ABUSED BEFORE WE ADOPTED HIM AND SUFFERS FROM SEPARATION ANXIETY. THE STAFF AT CAMP WOOF WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT HIS ANXIETY AND TOOK GREAT CARE OF HIM. BOTH DOGS SEEMED TO ENJOY THEIR STAY AND THE COMBINATION OF DAYCARE DURING THE DAY AND QUALITY BOARDING AT NIGHT WAS A GOOD COMBINATION FOR THEIR CARE. THEY ALSO PROVIDE A WEBCAM SO I WAS ABLE TO CHECK IN ON THE DOGS DURING MY TRIP. THE STAFF WAS ALSO VERY KIND WHEN I CALLED TO CHECK ON THE DOGS. I WILL CERTAINLY USE CAMP WOOF THE NEXT TIME THAT I HAVE TO GO OUT OF TOWN. CAMP WOOF IS AN EXCELLENT BOARDING AND DAYCARE FACILITY THAT IS PARTICULARLY ADEPT AT CARING FOR DOGS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS SUCH AS SEPARATION ANXIETY.
