AMERICANA FURNITURE SHOWROOM

This was the most unprofessional and not knowledgeable staff I've met in my extensive search for a sofa. There is more history than my most recent attempt to purchase a sofa, but here are some facts: 1. they don't know how to translate their "own" name for a piece of furniture to the manufacturer's number/name 2. They didn't know how to look for sofa's outside their showroom floor 3. Even after finding the sofa model and all info for them, it was another day before they found enough info to actually place the order 4. They called me to tell me I needed to pick out a separate pillow fabric the day after the order--I took a lunch break to go to the store. met with Michael, picked out the fabric which he actually went to the fabric collection and pulled it for me as we had talked about it on a previous item 5. Michael did not fill out the form, doesn't remember that I was there that day, and.... 6, Guy copied my phone number incorrectly so I didn't get any phone calls, and.... 7. Their assistant was supposed to email me......but there is no email in either spam or regular email, and ..... 8. Wrote me a postal letter 3 weeks later to say I hadn't picked out the pillow fabric! Result: 3 weeks after I picked out the pillow fabric, it STILL wasn't ordered so I'm forced to start again--with a different store, of course! End of story....I would not recommend for ANYONE to visit this business. Their lack of knowledge and ability to follow through is something I've NEVER seen in a furniture store in my entire life. It is unbelievable to me that the employee, Michael, himself had found and carried the pilllow fabric sample to the order desk, then failed to record it and couldn't remember I had ALREADY BEEN TO THE STORE!

LYNN WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. SHE WAS NOT A HIGH PRESSURE SALESPERSON AND MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. EVERYONE THERE IS FRIENDLY, POLITE, AND DILIGENT ABOUT GETTING THE JOB DONE. SHE ALWAYS RECOGNIZES ME WHEN I COME IN THE STORE. THE PRICES SEEM REASONABLE AND THE LOCATION IS CONVENIENT.
