Very responsive and went above and beyond to service my machine the same day so we wouldn't have to make another trip. My Janome is working like new and I appreciated the friendly and professional staff.

Under the circumstances, I had a really great experience. My machine took a while to be addressed, however the timeframe was expected, as I was forewarned by the establishment prior to dropping my machine off. My initial quote was higher than the $59 price I received prior to pick up; as quotes are merely estimations of what the cost for materials and labor ‘may’ cost, prior to any hands-on. This is not my first experience with A-1 Sewing, but I must add that I am continually impressed. Especially, honest suggestions to return to the manufacturer of your machine as it may be still under warranty, which saves a customer money. I found the employees to be most patient and cordial. I must add however, I did note the attitude of another customer that was, let’s say, ‘less than savory’. I can understand being a little “antsy” regarding a call back, but to not support a small family-owned business because of a ‘What will you give me for free’ type of attitude is selfish and quite shameful. She had attempted to fix the wiring of the machine herself, and did more harm than good. Leaving one’s machine at a quoted price vs. other avenues, is merely an option and should be received as such, no matter how heartbreaking it may seem at the time. The covid-19 pandemic has affected us ALL as a whole. Personally, I am deeply appreciative of the measures taken and I am also keenly aware of their staff shortage and the fact that team effort was portrayed. I sat watching them pushing forward to take care of customers, even on their off days! So, Kudos A-1 Sewing! You’ve earned it and I will continue to support small businesses.

We have gone to A-1 Sewing Machine repair several times and each time I'm so impressed with their customer service and attention to detail. They do everything in their power to get your machine repaired and back to you as soon as possible. This is especially important now during the pandemic when everyone is making masks. It's a family-owned business and it doesn't matter who I speak to. Everyone is professional, friendly and accommodating. I was told they were 30 days out for machine repairs yet my machine was ready in less than 3 weeks. Even if it were to take longer, this is the place I will always take my sewing machine to be repaired.

To the customer who was complaining about A-1 Sewing not getting back with you for two weeks , recently, I have to say, remember WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC! We are lucky that A-1 Sewing has remained open during the Covid-19 outbreak so we, the sewists, could have our machines repaired and buy parts and machines as needed. I waited in line 1hour and

GREAT, and the gent who owns the shop spent over an hour with my wife making sure she knew how to operate the machine since it had been several years since she'd used it. It was GREAT that he did that because she learned things she didn't know and we left there extremely satisfied. NO CHARGE for the tutoring, either!!!

They repaired my machine and I haven’t had any problems with it since. They are a Janome Dealer and I have bought several machines from them. They sell a good product and give goo service

Machine came back with the same problem and no one could explain what had been done to the machine. Had to return for proper repair three visits altogether.

The folks at A-1 Sewing have always been very kind, professional, and have done an excellent job for us. I have never been charged more than $60 for their basic service, which I have always thought was very reasonable. I remember when my serger was in need of repairs other than the basic annual service a couple of years ago. They called me with a free estimate, explained the details of what additional repairs were needed, and gave me the choice whether to have the additional needed repairs done. | |Both my mother and I have always been and continue to be satisfied with the excellent service we have received from this company and will continue to trust them for all our sewing machine service needs

Repaired my industrial serger. They could not visit my establishment, I had to take it in and after repair, was not able to re-attach. They did send, at their expense, someone out to assist. I have had my machines worked on before by someone who would come out to my establishment for half the price of the one repair.

I took my sewing machine in for a tune up. They were prompt, and the machine is working great.

They were very welcoming as I entered the store and looked over the machine and said it would be no problem to get it running. They called in short time with an estimate to which I agreed. In a short time they called to say that the machine was ready. When I picked it up, they took the time to show me how to do things I was unsure of with that machine. It runs like a charm now.

Service was prompt. I left the machine off one day, received a call with an estimate within a day, and service was completed within 1-2 days, after that.

It went well.

I HAD TAKEN THE MACHINES TO 2 OTHER REPAIR SHOPS WHERE THEY TRIED TO SELL ME A NEW ONE. A-1 CLEANED, REPAIRED, AND REFURBISHED THE MACHINE VERY QUICKLY AND FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.
