I had used a different pool service before and my pool never seemed to stay clean or be in the shape I wanted it in. I let my pool go after trying to figure out who to change to and then decided to try Tifton Pools and Spas. They were fantastic! They got my pool back into shape and have been keeping it clean since day one of the pool service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Tifton area!

Tifton pool was supposed to
Main pool was acid washed first of August. Tifton Pool and Spa found the motor needed to be replaced on the pool pump or the pool pump filter (can’t remember). New motor was installed.
The property is currently rented and the renter told us that when the waterfalls were running it was causing the pool level to drop. He didn’t know why and I have talked with Tifton Pool and Spa 4 different times trying to get an answer on this. I finally got an answer last week. Betty said Victor should have told me and Victor said Betty should have told me and then they said they told the renter, but they didn't tell me. Tifton Pool and Spa said they needed to do a pressure test to see where it is leaking to do the test but not . Tifton Pool and Spa said the self-cleaning system was not working because the motor needed to be replaced (1 horse power motor). They have known this since August but failed to tell us. Replace the motor and labor $445. Once the motor is replaced then they say we need to have the pool vacuumed, cleaned and the filter cleaned because there is algae in the pool- $150. I don’t understand why they told the new tenant no need to keep the pool up until the motor is replaced because you are wasting money but yet they charged Dr. Glass to keep up the pool and it was not clean when he moved out. Tifton Pool and Spa said there are ants that are at the motor or controls that they think have caused the problems (I have no idea).
Tifton Pool and Spa said the pool needed 65 bags of salt. They recommended waiting until the spring to do that and in the meantime use chlorine tablets. The guy in Albany did not understand why they recommended that. Seems like a lot of salt for this size pool in my opinion.
I am not happy with their service.

Response from TIFTON POOLS & SPAS
"The first time i talked to this lady i told her the water falls were causing the water level to drop and i told her what we needed to do to find the problem they agreed to price and we narrowed the problem down to one of the waterfalls and told her what needed to be done next...she did not tell me to finish the job so we stoped. The cleaner motor never worked since the first day we got to the job we never told anybody about it we thought they knew this. The filter and pool needed to be cleaned because they let the pool get green this has nothing to do with the cleaner motor we did not replace the cleaner motor and did not charge for it. We did replace pool motor with a 3/4hp motor for a cost of $295.95 plus labor. We never told home renter to turn pool off and pool was clean when we did the service for [name removed]. We never told anybody they needed 65 bags of salt we told them that salt generators do not function in the winter time that they should wait till spring to add any salt to the pool. Pretty much everything in this letter is a lie and when you have to talk to the person renting the house and the realitor and then the person who owns the house there is bound to be some miscommunication .. We are a well established company with over 70 years experience and try to do a good job for a fair price we have never cheated anyone who has ever contacted us we take pride in our work and our honesty.. THANK YOU : Victor & Betty"
