From the first phone call, I was quite pleased with the process. They came out today, were very friendly, and did a great job or not only pumping, but explaining the entire system...all with minimal invasion to the yard. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

They pumped tank and verified there was no problem with the septic system itself. The line was clogged between the house and the tank. They jetted the line to clear. The line was clogged with cooking grease poured down the drain by actions of the tenants (past/present). Insurance damage claim amounted to $9000 plus. If they had not identified the problem, this could have all fell on me. I am the property owner. I also used Septic Solutions in 2009 when I purchased this house. Lines began to back up. The dug up and found the tank choked with tree roots. There was even a root growing up into the line from the house. They cleaned out the roots, cleared the area around the tank to prevent further problems. They are honest and professional, Kenneth Mitchell, Pres., MIBU Enterprises, Inc.

They were very nice and they seemed to be knowledgeable. I just do not have to look at the price but I think all septic companies tend to overcharge. Actually, they worked in two of my houses. I think they were a bit late in one house and on time in the other.

"Member- Was this work done in Norcross? If not -it wasn't us. We don't work in Gwinnett County. If this was at your property somewhere in West Georgia, we appreciate the review."

They managed to get the pump to work however they disabled the alarm. They told us pump, switches and wiring needed to be replaced for a quote of $1500. These guys have an attitude and treated us like we had no right to question their findings. We called another plumber and they fixed the wiring for $250. No problems since. They do have a very nice young woman that answers the phone, returns calls, schedules service, etc.

"We understand that we can’t please everyone but we feel like we did what was right in this situation. We received a call from the members because the alarm on their pump was going off. They called us because we had worked for them in May of 2009. We had also previously given them estimates for other work but they gave the job to someone else. Pump systems can have many problems and some cannot be seen by just looking at the pump. Because it’s time consuming and we should not have to diagnose the problem for someone else to repair, we charge a $250.00 fee to trouble shoot the system.. Two men spent over an hour at their home. They removed the cover on the dosing tank, opened the junction box and disconnected all the wiring, wired the pump without the float switch, and got the pump working so that it would pump all the waste water. The wiring was scorched, the float switches were bad, and the wire was spliced inside the conduit. To repair this , the pump would have to be pulled out . We suggested that they replace the pump then because it was 7 or 8 years old. Most don’t last much longer than that. We would also install new float switches, wiring from the garage, and a new 15 amp circuit from the house. The total price for all of this would have been $1500.00 but the $250.00 they paid for the diagnostic visit would be applied to it. The member complained about us disabling the alarm. Her husband requested that we do that and if we hadn’t , it would have kept going off. They scheduled the other work, called and asked if we could do it any cheaper, and then canceled. We offered to do less work (not replace the pump) for less money but they didn’t want to do that. The reason they got more work done for just $250.00 is because we had already done some of the work. We never said that the pump was bad but suggested changing it because it was so old. She made it sound like we told her she had to do it and that we lied about it. As far as having a bad attitude, we are sorry she feels that way. We realize that we can’t please everyone. If we had a bad attitude, why did they schedule more work? Why did they call us after we had worked for them in 2009 if we were so bad?"

Called late on Monday afternoon (08/01) to request septic service (non-emergency/general maintenance). Receptionist was very friendly and immediately scheduled a team to perform the work the very next morning. The receptionist called the next morning to confirm the appointment and notify me that the team was on its way. The friendly team quickly identified the septic location despite my incorrect assessment as to its actual location. Team immediately started digging and found a tree root growing across the top and down the side into the tank which required the use of an excavator to remove this obstacle. They then pumped the tank and advised that the main line required repairs from root damage and because pipe had not been sealed when the system was originally installed. All repair work was promptly performed. The supervisor also took the time to explain methods for mitigating heavy laundry use that had been stressing the system.
