I requested the clearing of land to have a view of the lake in our backyard. Quote was given and accepted. Was told the completed project would look like a mulch bed and stumps would be to the ground. Day 1 8/3. Bush hog for 6 hours. Day 2 8/10. Bush hog for 5 hours, but they billed for 7. Day 3 8/25. Bush hog 4 hours. At this point, Mr. Lutrell said they were done stating that the hourly quote had been met. I replied that the objective of viewing the lake had not been met. Small trees still standing blocking the view to the water. Sheared stumps all over and dangerous to walk around. Whole trees that the bush hog left behind scattered throughout. When I addressed these items with Mr. Lutrell, half his crew left, and he and another worker continued to cut areas with a single chainsaw where the Bush hog could not get. They continued on until the chainsaw was out of gas and then abandoned the site without communicating with me whatsoever. I think this organization wants to simply charge people to run a bush hog, not fully understanding that clearing land takes more than running heavy equipment. I never once said charge me for running a bush hog. I stated I wanted a clear view of the lake, and they failed to complete that objective after assuring me that they could. Their professionalism needs work. If they had focused on my project instead of complaining about other customers, they may have finished the work, and I would be writing a stellar review instead.
