Suwanee's Veterinary care is very very good. Their grooming services are not.

dogI have been going to Suwanee Animal Hospital for my dog Joy over 3 years . She developed a kidney infection all I got was a call to tell me that. I pick up the meds and never got to talk to a Dr.. This was in June. In Sept. 13 she got ill so I took her in. They kept 2 days her and could not fine the source of the infection. We took her to Univ of Ga. where she died the next day of kidney failure.
Joy had many ear problems ,so I got to know the vet quite well. I feel that the lack of communication, and un professional treatment
of a serious illness lead to her death. When I called to Sat morning test had not been ordered and she ask when I was coming to pick up Joy to bring her home. I ordered the test done. She was dead the next night..

They were not able to determine the cause of the problem. Big problem was continuing symptoms after discharge, and their complete lack of response when I requested additional advice on what to do.
This is a disappointment, as I've had reasonable service from this clinic in the past.

My Lab mix received a bath at Suwanee Animal Hospital for the second time today and I could not be happier with the results (again)! There are always plenty of staff in the front to greet you and your pet, the staff is warm and, you can tell, really love animals. The groomer had a question and gave me a phone call, which really impressed me. I had to leave a few specific instructions for the groomer and it appears all were followed. When I went to pick him up, there were plenty of staff to greet me and check me out quickly. A few minutes later, my dog was brought up and the technician told me that she spent time hand drying him out of the run. I really could not ask for better care for my anxious dog. I also really like that my 60 lb. Lab is not stuffed into a crate before or after bathing. I learned today that he is in a run and has room to move about.I do go to Suwanee Animal Hospital for veterinarian services and am just as pleased with the doctors and technicians that I have interacted with (I can count 3 doctors we have seen, by choice because of my schedule).

We have been using Suwanee Animal Hospital for 6 years now. We have 4 rescue cats that have needed various treatments, ranging from typical checkups to orthopedic surgery. The staff here has been awesome to work with in every situation. They really try to help you chose the right treatments within your budget. They don't just recommend the most expensive option first and then work down from there. They explain each option and most often recommend the less expensive ones first. They tried everything possible to treat one of our cats, before finally recommending we take her to a specialist.

Every staff member is attentive and responsive to your needs. Other vets we have been to stick you in a room and then it takes forever to finally see a doctor. Not that way here, you go into a room and shortly thereafter the doctor comes in. Even with three cats at a time to be examined, we are in and out in no time.

We would highly recommend Suwanee Animal Hospital to anyone with a pet and in fact, we quite often do recommend

I help with labrador retriever rescue and was looking for a vet close by that would offer a good service along with pricing. A lot of vets that work with rescues give low pricing, but the quality of their service is very low. I was very impressed with SAH, Doc Fitz and her staff. They provided regular vet and boading care for several of the dogs and did surgery on one of the seniors. I would most definitely recommend them to friends/family.

I wouldn't recommend them. They were not attentive to customer needs. They had teenagers as employees. There was only one licensed veterinarian in the whole building. The rest of them were a bunch of teenagers running around scratching their heads. I thought it was a day care center for dogs. It didn't seem like a medical center at all.

Everything was explained very clearly about the situation, the prognosis, and the time schedule I needed to follow. I highly recommend the staff at Suwanee Animal Hospital, in particular Dr. Fitzgerald. She is a Saint for pets.

Swanee Animal Hospital is great. They are very professional, kind to the animals and really are animal lovers. I have my dog groomed there also. They do a wonderful job.

They ended up doing procedures on him, filling him up with medicine without an authorization from me. That made me so angry. Every time I left him there they would do something to him. I just did not feel comfortable leaving my pet there anymore.
