:Sales staff was helpful, but not pushy. Prices were lower than more full-service places like Metro. When we made it clear that we had an installer lined up, they were nonetheless helpful in connecting us with contractor supply places for molding and glue, etc. There were no hard sales pitches like "You have to buy our glue" or other things we have heard. Instead, when we told them which glue our installer wanted us to use, they said: "that's a good product. Here's where we go to buy it. You can get a good deal." And we did get a good deal.
After doing a lot of research, we chose a manufactured hardwood and were very pleased with the quality (as was our installer). We ended up ordering several more boxes than we needed because our installer assumed he would find more damaged or imperfect boards. Instead, very little was not usable.
Overall, they were very good, and I would recommend them.

Everything went perfect with them. The floor is beautiful! I would not rate them an A though only because I was unable to return the flooring that I did not use.

Started out fine until there was a problem with one piece of flooring. I used their product in four separate rooms in my home over two projects. On the second project, a piece of flooring in the middle of the room warped and created an ugly hump in the very middle of the room. I called my installer and Simple Floors. Before even seeing the project, Simple Floors "customer service" denied any responsibility and gave me the option of:

1. Buying more flooring from them.
2. See Option #1

When my installer looked at the situation, he said that it looked like the piece had delaminated. After confronting Simple Floors customer service rep, they grudgingly sent a paid installer from them to analyze the situation. After failing to pin the problem on everything from humidity (I live in San Diego!), floor cleaners (used the same ones on my other floors for years), adhesive, sunlight, etc..., their paid installer blamed the problem on lack of a sufficient gap between the stone floor and the wood floor 10' away. This was even though the same condition existed in two other rooms in my house with no problem.

The entire fix cost only $200 of which I wanted my installer and Simple Floors to share the cost. My installer agreed because he is a decent human being. I'm going to pay him anyway because he was willing to help even though it probably wasn't his fault. Simple Floors would not consider paying $1 to fix the problem, even though they sold me two projects totaling thousands of dollars. If you think this is an isolated incident, check out other forums in which other customers have been treated in a similar fashion.

I've been in construction over 30 years and have never seen a company so steadfast in refusing to accept any responsibility. There are many hardwood flooring suppliers in the country. Do not take a chance on this one. Once they have your money, you might as well not exist. Terrible experience over a tiny problem. I would hate to see how they reacted to a larger problem. Buyer beware...

This company had good prices at the time, partly because their Miramar Rd showroom was undergoing renovation at the time. Personable staff, but the saleswoman (Ren) *never* returns phone calls in spite of repeated messages. OK once you reach her, but the failure to return phone calls is poor customer service. For instance, it was difficult to get a delivery date. Otherwise, the flooring was delivered as expected.
