The experience has been terrible. Delivery took way too long. And now after two or three years of having this recliner, it has broken, because in specific area of the recliner they utilize plastic connectors. Now they want to charge me $70.00 to come and put in a new plastic connector, which will assuradly break again. I am disgusted. I thought I was buying quality American made product, but have found out that I was lied to. The plastic parts are in there on purpose so that they will break and cause you to go buy another recliner. I have only used this recliner on very rare ocassions, but now it is useless. My only recourse now is to at least let other buyers of furniture from Lay-Z-Boy be warned of the defective plastic connectors they use in specific breaking points within the chair. This is not the kind of recliner that will last 10 to 15 years. I overpaid for this and the additional furniture I bought. I should gone ahead and bought the furniture made in China, as I have a Chinese recliner upstairs that has lasted more than 10 years. Next time that will be the deal.
