Work performed and workers: GREAT Communication: Rushed with poor planning and communication tonteam. Never produced actual site plans prior to work. Said trust him. Overall result: stressful project completion, miscalculated costs, result not what asked for. In dealing with them Ed was very cordial and quick to respond when getting the job. Said all the right things with his 20 years plus experience. When it came to actual work done, he did not communicate effectively to his crew exactly what we spoke on. By the time we realized they built the ramp 3 feet lower than we asked it was too late. He again quick talked and said no problem they could fix it. Reality was they couldn't without a very large charge increase. When came time to pay, our cost had increased by 20% He informed us along the way he miscalculated and needed some additional material. Never did he tell us how much or give us a running total. He ended up compromising and meeting us half way but was a very uncomfortable and stressful communication feeling like we were being extra sold. Not understanding as it's their job to measure and calculate when bidding for the job. After first couple rains we started having severe washouts and land collapse on and around the ramp and stairs they built. We have made several attempts to contact Ed and after 3 months have not heard back from him despite emails , calls and texts. We now have to hire someone else to address these issues and spend what could be an additional couple thousand dollars.
