NIGHTMARE. Paid a total of $26,300 for "built-in" custom, floor-to-ceiling cabinets. Project started in December 2022 with a down payment of $13,150.00 Gaping space between the cabinets and the ceiling. A 32-bottle built-in wine rack crashed down with only five bottles in it. Numerous separation points between cabinets partitions. On 5/08/23, against my better judgement, paid the $13,150 balance off in full. I typically hold back 15% for checklist items, but understood this contractor was in need of the money. It is now 2/26/24, numerous calls and texts, no results. You might be better off purchasing pre-assembled cabinets from your neighborhood hardware store.

Everything went well and we are pleased with the result.

We had a large, detailed project involving five separate rooms, so we invited the three cabinetmaking firms with the best reviews on the web (highest ratings, substantial numbers of reviews) to bid on the project. We ultimately chose Cabinets of Atlanta due to the quality of the work we saw in their shop, the knowledgeability of the owner, Rafal, the quality of the input he gave us regarding the design and installation features of our plans, and the overall price competitiveness of the company. What a great decision that turned out to be - - Cabinets of Atlanta is, without a doubt, the best service company we have ever hired (and we’ve had a lot of experience in this, being in our sixties). We found Rafal and his employees to be superb craftsmen, in the truest European sense of the word. Accuracy is clearly paramount, everything is meticulously done, and nothing is left to fall through the cracks. You simply will not fine better woodworking and cabinetmaking skills. On top of that, the people involved in the project were just the nicest, most conscientious guys you are ever likely to meet. We are thrilled - - no, it’s way beyond thrilled - - with the results (so much so that we are now cooking up some additional projects for Rafal and his team to tackle). If you want highest quality results, and you want it at a good price, look no further than Cabinets of Atlanta.

They were really good for cabinetries. They were real nice. They have a very high quality and good price. It was a really good experience.

Rafal installed a floating vanity cabinet, medicine cabinet, granite counter top, and the shower glass. He can custom make just about anything you need, we decided to rip out our old vanity and use a floating style to compliment the contemporary shower tile installed by Peters Tile (different company, the two worked well together). It came out great, he is a master at woodworking and can advise you as to the construction and look if you are unsure as we were. At the last minute we added a medicine cabinet that he was able to throw nicely together as well as frames for the mirrors. We are very happy with the workmanship and look of the bathroom...it is an overwhelming task best left to the professionals like Rafal. We are planning to have him renovate our kitchen later this year.

I almost did not consider Rafal because his estimate was significantly lower than all the other companies that came out and gave me bids. There was something about the way he measured and re-measured each cabinet in preparing his estimate that told me he was a true professional. To assure myself before proceeding, I visited his shop and learned that he was a cabinet maker who also did refacing.
I also asked him for a list of references which he provided and I called until I found one who in addition to raving about Rafal offered to let us come out and see his work. Her refacing job was beautiful and obviously done by a professional. The only problem she had was with the granite installation (they scratched her new cabinet pretty badly) then she explained that she used a neighbor not Rafal to install her granite.
We proceeded to contract Rafal and everything went better than I had hoped. He and his men are professionals and my cabinets look better than most new cabinets I have seen. He responded promptly to 2 small problems we encountered and bent over backwards to correct them.
I would highly recommend anyone considering cabinet refacing or custom cabinets to consider Rafal and his team. Don't be put off by his low price, he and his team are true craftsmen. The only thing I would do differently is have someone else put in the under cabinet lights. The lights he used kept failing. While he brought me plenty of replacements, I finally changed them out for LED strips. The under cabinet lights were an optional add on to the cabinet refacing bid.
