"Thank you for sharing and more importantly for allowing us to handle your flooring needs"
I would highly recommend them for any project you have in mind and they beat Lowes pricing on the flooring and installation!
We will absolutely return to Atlanta Flooring Design Center for rugs in the future as our new house has hardwood floors and we will need more rugs. Having a custom rug cut and bound with a nice pad is such a better option than buying a stock rug from a store. Plus, we were able to purchase larger, better quality rugs than are available from most stores for a better price. Definitely a win-win!
Carol came to my house on time/promptly to take measurements. She noted my special request to add some carpet to bare steps. She explained exactly how they would do the steps, and explained the scope of the whole job. The installers were on time, highly skilled, and worked efficiently. Never made one single mistake. They didn't leave one single tack for me or my grandchildren to step on. (Just as Carol promised, they did an amazing job.) The carpet tips Carol gave me were "spot on"….. no pun intended. The carpet is luxurious and thick but does not show tracks. PERFECTION!!
If you are looking toward a carpet re-do, here is what I ran into BEFORE I went to Atlanta Flooring Design in Suwanee:
1st place: bragged that they were the cheapest, but had terrible carpet.
(I thought, "How CHEAP do I look?")
2nd place: A well known company in the community came promptly to measure for the quote, made a couple of derogatory comments about my house, then I had to make two more trips to their showroom to light a fire under them to actually give
the quote that ended up being twice as high as Atlanta Flooring Design.
3rd place: A NO-SHOW, after I'd changed all my plans around to accommodate being here to get this project in the works.
I have other carpet areas that need to be addressed. I won't have to go several places only to be disappointed and waste a bunch of valuable time. I have only to call ATLANTA FLOORING DESIGN at 3665 Swiftwater Park Dr., Suwanee, GA.
My experience with AFDC was completely opposite of that with another large flooring showroom in Suwanee (up the "Hill"). The Hill company was practically useless in understanding what I wanted and steering me in appropriate directions, not very knowledgable about the product (they are an official Mohawk vendor, but didn't really know the product), they didn't have any examples of carpet pad (except some dusty things they kept pulling out of the back), they use sub-contractors for the installation, and their price quote was way higher ($2,100 to carpet one room - they should be embarrassed about that quote). The Hill company was the exact opposite in every way from Atlanta Flooring & Design, who I highly recommend. We are very happy with everything, the product, the process, and the price.
