 + -1 moreWe have been very disappointed in our overall experience with Ambiance. The first projects that involved interior design and custom window treatments went fairly smoothly. The purchase of custom furniture turned into a total disaster. After months of waiting we finally received our merchandise. We have experienced problems with the furniture and have received little support from Ambiance in our efforts to have the problems rectified. The development of the basement design plan was well done. However, the work performed as ''general contractor'' was abysmal. On multiple occasions, there were unexpected expenses and serious problems with subcontractors. In general it was a VERY disappointing experience.
Description of Work: Ambiance Interiors has performed several projects for our family. The first project involved general interior design, design of window treatments and the purchase of custom pieces of furniture. The largest project was the development of an interior design plan to finish the terrace level of our home. Subsequent to the development of the plan, Ambiance Interiors served as general contractor for the basement work. The job involved aspects of plumbing, electrical, framing, custom cabinetry, flooring and painting.
