Simple Floors in Alpharetta is an awful company to deal with. Charly hovered over us with attention, care and detail all up until the point where we had a problem. Charly insisted that we use Andy with Floors of Atlanta, LLC for this installation because, as Charly stated, Andy is the "best of the best". This could not be further from the truth. Andy with Floors of Atlanta, LLC, and Simple Floors are the "worst of the worst". We purchased 1,700 square feet of their most expensive floor product and my investment of nearly $25,000 was a complete waste. The product was not manufactured correctly, and the installer did a horrible job. I have tried to contact Andy, sometimes as often as two to three times per day, with no response. I have attempted on to get his insurance information on multiple occasions from Andy himself, from Charly, and again today from the owner of Simple Floors. Everyone has promised it, and yet no one has produced it. I am certain at this point that I'm being lied to and I don't believe that Andy has valid insurance at all. Simple Floors pushed very hard for us to select Andy and to find out that he doesn't even have his insurance certificate available when a customer asks for it, is reprehensible. I had to contract myself for an independent NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association) Inspector to provide a report on all of the problems. I have also received two independent contractors proposals, all of whom recommend a complete tear out of the floor, a new subfloor and re-installation using new product. All parties have noted the variation in color amongst the boards. The inspection report calls attention to the dramatic "blond" color boards amongst the darker colored boards which we ordered. It also call into attention the varied widths of the boards in addition to other problems.
Every professional that has looked at our floor was shocked to see that Andy used a black sharpie marker around every cut board to conceal places where the wood chipped. And, only when we brought it to his attention, did he clean up some of them. Many of these marks still remain. They were shocked at every part of the installation. They opened air vents in the floor, expecting to see how thick the glue was, but were surprised to find no glue at all. Each contractor, along with the inspector, has spent time "tapping" the floor with a stick, listening for hollow areas which are abundant in our floor. There are so many problems with this floor, it is hard to even begin to contain my frustration and disappointment as I write this. Charly made us feel that choosing anyone but Andy to install our floor would be a huge mistake. The opposite could not be more true. Additionally, Andy ensured us that the boards had acclimated properly. He placed approximately 70 boxes of flooring in about 7 large piles and when I questioned how the boards could get acclimated without airflow, he told me it was no problem. 
So now, there is clearly no way to repair this floor. We have given Simple Floors and Andy plenty of time to respond and address our concerns and now, nearly two months after the project, we are still fighting for something to be done. Andy has responded to us maybe once or twice despite countless attempts to contact him. Our house remodel is 99% complete, and yet we now have to completely start over. So, even after the floors get done correctly, it will be necessary to paint, replace all the shoe molding and some door trim and move every piece of furniture again. This job will be significantly more expensive than the first time around. We have been deceived over and over. Andy indicated, at the one and only time he came out, that Charly would be providing floor boards and he would fix everything. After a week of believing that story, I suddenly get a call from Russell stating that he was with the manufacturer and he "happened" to be in the area, and wanted to come see our floors.He stated that his job was "to make sure we had everything we needed". That was a lie. He was not there to help us. He wanted make up a story about how the manufacturer could wiggle their way out of being held accountable. I'm shocked at the lack of accountability on the part of Simple Floors and on Andy. Be warned, this company is deceitful and will not stand behind their products!!! Run away from Simple Floors!!
