It did not go well. I was quoted one price. After the move I was told I had to pay more. I paid $1650 to Milton and $350.00 more to his worker Jamal for the 3 workers. I paid the worker via cash app to chaseuno. I put fragile on my box and my expensive vases and they were broken. I moved on July 13, 2024 and noticed on July 18, 2024 that my vases were broken I reached out to Milton to inform him of the damages, he texted, "apologies" I responded, "Hello Milton, Thank you for your apologies, but I'm going to need to be reimbursed for my broken vases." Mitlon responded, "Not responsible for it if we did not pack it, We would have had to pack it, I'm sorry." I then texted, Ok, no worries, we can just go to small claims court. This is unexceptable. Have a good day.

Recently used Star Moving for a whole house, 4 bedrooms. Reasonable price: $2200. Movers arrived on time and got straight to work. Finished right at the estimated time with no damage to furniture or house. Movers were professional and pleasant. Definitely will use Star Moving again for any future moving needs. Highly recommend!

I would recommend this moving company to anyone I know they were punctual and very professional. This wasn’t my first time using a moving company so I was kinda nervous but once I seen how they wrapped and handled all of my things and even broke them down to make sure nothing happened whilst traveling It took a lot off my back and made me feel safe that my belongings would be okay. Well worth the price!

These days it can be so hard to find good businesses, where you experience real customer service and professionalism. I had such a great experience. This was my first real big move, and I was nervous. I had A LOT of boxes and heavy furniture. They took away a load of stress from me, in how the owner made the process so smooth. He explained everything concerning the process and what to expect. I was able to actually feel less anxious and more excited about my new beginning. I didn’t have to feel like I wasted my money either. They were punctual, respectful, and they know how to make you feel like a valued client.

They arrived at 10:30 am to start loading my property. I arrived 2 hrs to the storage unit before them and had over half of the unit waiting on the loading dock for them to load. It should have take three men about an hour to load. They drug there feet arguing amongst themselves for awhile and was extremly slow. It took them 2 hrs to load what was there. We departed for the drop off at the same time. Which is a 15 min drive away. I arrived and started unloading the uhaul van that I had loaded while I was waiting on them to arrive at the storage unit. I completely unloaded a full cargo van and they had not arrived yet. I began calling the phone number of the guy that contacted me through your site. I called no less than 20 times and text 10- 15 times with no answer. After about 1 hr and 45 min I was thinking that they stole my property. I kept calling still no answer. So after 2 1/2 hours I text the man to tell him that I had notified Atlanta Police 911 that they stole my property. He replied quickly and said that they were 5 min away. Well that came and went. So I kept calling and no answer. 30 more minutes later they arrived. They vanished with my property for 3 hrs without a reason or explanation. Upon their arrival they demanded that I pay 1367.50 in cash. If I didn't pay them in Cash right then, they were not unloading my property and leaving with it. I tried to get them to let me pay with a credit card and they refused. I had to pay cash or zelle they money or they were leaving. I had no choice and they didnt care that It was double the amount owed. When I could only send 1000 via zelle they said to Cash App them the balance. They again packed up and threatened to leave with my property. After still trying to call their office and manager 50-100 times. They said to go to the ATM and get cash or they were leaving, with my property. They told me to get 187.50 in cash. So, I did. then after about 15 minutes the guy said that I owed even more or that they would keep my property and leave. I ask to see the time sheet and break down and he refused. He just kept saying to pay more. This went on with no work being done for about 2 hrs. He finally told they guys to finish and that they would follow me to the atm for me to pay another 100. They intimidated and threatened me several times. Noone from there office or the man that set up the appt would call or respond to me to explain the craziness. I found this company through your site ad hold you just as responsible. Also, they refused to apply the 200 deposit that I made.They completely scammed me. Changed the whole documents. Then demanded cash. Refused to answer my calls and text. The movers disappear for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Only showed up when I told them that I called the police. Do Not Use These People.

At completion you were charged for $165/hr for 7 hours of labor. There was no scam. All paperwork was reviewed with client. Our pros took a 30 minute break that was deducted from the total. It is unfortunate that our move is getting a 1 star rating. Our movers provided excellent service and provided additional support to ensure all of your items made it, nothing broken. It took 7 hours with our pros working as fast & diligently as possible, all while you were expecting it to be done in 3 hours. If I could give this negative stars I would. They gave me an arrival time between 11 AM and 1 PM, and ended up showing up at 5 PM. When they arrived, there was one person trying to move everything by themselves. My fiance was there and literally had to help him move everything, keep in mind we are paying them over $600 for this! They moved my things, I only had about five large items. Finally, I guess it is the owner, his name is Milton, decided to step out of the vehicle and help. They didn’t handle anything carefully, I requested upon booking for them to be gentle with my things as they are very old. I have scratches on my furniture, scratches on my floor, and they were very rude. It only took them about an hour and a half to do all of this, and they were very pushy about payment as soon as they got to my destination. They wanted me to Zelle them immediately without even examining my items. When I told them that I wanted to look over everything, Milton got upset and Started using profanity and moving my things back outside of the apartment until payment was sent. I have never seen this kind of unprofessionalism. There is a huge crack in my dresser from them slamming my furniture down. As a woman Dealing With all of this, I have never felt so unsafe and embarrassed. This is a brand new place I am living in, and they made a scene over payment because they were in a rush. Milton even proceeded to take my dogs bed out of my apartment and throw it into the hallway. I ended up having to get the police involved. These people are looking for a quick buck for no effort at all. If anything they should have paid my fiancé for helping them move everything while one of the men sat in the truck the whole time. On top of all of that, I was expecting a commercial business truck to move my items. They showed up in a pick up truck, With a trailer attached to it, And did not strap down any of my items. Everything is damaged. I highly recommend doing your Research before Booking with this company.

Moving from Alpharetta to Alpharetta with an additional stop they were quoted $620 *Flat Rate*. Due to the small amount of items they were sent a 20 ft ENCLOSED cargo trailer *not an open trailer*. Upon nearly finishing their move, clients stated that they did not have the funds to afford the move. Client offered to settle the bill remaining of $495 with only $200 instead. We had clear evidence that stated they knew their bill was due upon finishing their move. Initially clients wanted to be invoiced later and refute the price due to false claims of damaged property which is not true. Again, we apologize for your experience. This was a last-minute move and it sounded promising over the phone. However, when they arrived, they were very unprofessional, on top of that They were about three hours outside of the timeframe they gave us. They did not handle any of my items with care, I actually have cracks in my dressers that they moved. After they moved my furniture, they immediately demanded payment. I told them that I was going to have to transfer a few funds and it would take About 10 minutes considering I did not know this was their policy. The man moving my stuff started acting erratically, he said he had other stops to get to, and I ended up having to call the authorities. As if all of that is not reason enough to not hire with these people, The minute I told them I could not make the payment immediately they started carrying my furniture back outside of my house and scratched my wooden floors. Keep in mind this all happened within 10 minutes! I had no problem paying them. I just told them that I needed a minute. I have never seen this kind of aggression or unprofessionalism in my life. One of the men told me that he was upset because they get scammed all the time, I definitely understand why now. They charge an outrageous amount and provide low quality service. I highly suggest going with somebody else even if this is your last resort.

This was the worst moving experience I have ever experienced. They showed up 3 hours LATE to start. My move time was 9:30 am and they showed up at 12:04 pm. I was quoted for $395. on the way to my new home, I was called to settle the bill which was odd seeing that we were still in route. The owner preceded to tell me I owed $1200. I sent him the texts confirming my move date quote and start time. He then told me it was a typo and I have to pay $1200 to get my belongings from them. After I told him I'm paying the price I was quoted for he hung in my face. I call and texted and could not get a response ALL THIS WHILE IM ON THE WAY TO MY NEW HOUSE. I had to call A MAN to call him to tell him where my things and i want them. I told him he could bring my stuff back to my home, then i was told they were going to bring my stuff to storage I SAID FINE SEND ME AN ADDRESS WHERE MY BELONGINGS WILL BE!! WHICH THEY DID NOT. After almost 20 mins of back and forth I had to pay $500 just to get my belongings back plus the $125 deposit that I already paid. I am currently in the process of taking legal action for breach of contact. THESE PPL ARE CRIMINALS I WISH I READ THE REVIEWS BEOFRE I BOOKED WITH THEM. THEY DONT DESERVE THE 1 STAR I GAVE!

Upon arrival you had a 3BR and what you even said a lot more than you thought. The moving manager explained to you that a move like yours would be $1200 or more & we worked with you on your move for a more than Fair Market price of $500, $625 if you include the deposit. Again we apologize for any inconvenience. Even with the extra items you also requested a truck with lift gate. How could all of this be $270 to $395 after not being honest about the items needing to be moved! Please be aware that it is important to be upfront about all your items so that you can avoid incurring any additional charges! Again, we apologize for any miscommunication or misunderstanding there may have been regarding your move."

Showed up an hour late. Broke my dresser. Charged me for 3hours but only worked an hour for a small move less than a mile away. Called the cops but was forced to pay for time not completed. Fraudulent company stay away

This company was the most professional moving services I’ve ever used. Unfortunately, I’ve used a few moving companies in the past that just didn’t care about my property and didn’t take the time to move the furniture properly. The men who moved me were very nice and thorough. They did the best job protecting and moving my items. They completed the job on time. I will use this company in the future. This was the best moving experience I have had. Star Moving was exceptional! I had my own U-Haul and contracted Star to load and unload. Milton the owner, phoned, texted, or emailed me at least once a day until my move date. Arrived with shrink wrap which was so unexpected as I thought I was just hiring muscle. Everything was professionally wrapped and loaded well, within the time quoted. Moving is always stressful, but Star Moving was great with their help.
