They came into the picture after speaking to Shawn at Heaton Environmental. He told me to call ServPro and I spoke to the owner whose name is Sammy. He charges $55 to come out and he did a thorough inspection on the inside of hte house as well as the crawlspace and basement. He discovered I had mold on the floor, underneath the bed in a downstairs room. He knew where to look and because it was a downstairs bedroom above the crawlspace and the conditions were sufficient for mold to grow on the floor. The moisture was only sufficient for the mold to grow on the floor and two inches above. Because of the suggestions given earlier and the steps I had taken of putting up plastic crawlspace and using a dehumidifier, Sammy told me that there was mold underneath the bed but because of the steps I had taken my problem will be taken care of after cleaning it up. When Sammy pointed out the mold on the floor and I treated it and cleaned it up and the problem has been solved. I cannot say enough good things about ServPro. This is the company that people need to be calling. He knew exactly what to look for and where to look. I really appreciate Angie's List because they helped me get to where I needed to go but Serv Pro did a remarkable job. Sammy was knowledgable, pin pointed the issue and because of this I finally got the mold problem solved. Without Angie's List I don't think I would have solved this problem. I've had this problem for several years and have spent a lot of money to get this done. Everything from putting attachments on my furnace to sealing the duct work up but still the problem remained. I spent thousands of dollars trying to solve and figure out this problem and I am so happy that this problem is finally over.
