 + -1 moreIt was great having Jim visit our home to tune out piano. His method of tuning starts with an electronic tuner to get a baseline, then the rest of the piano is tuned by ear. This allows the piano to be tuned to the environment. The piano sounds great, and I'm looking forward to next year's service.

Description of Work: Tuned piano that had been out of tune for 4 years. Restrung some stuck keys. Did not pressure to have expensive work done. Very very happy with the tuning. I am playing the piano everyday now. |

Description of Work: Jim Has been tuning my grand piano for at least ten years (as well as performing other necessary maintenance.) It's such a joy to play when he's finished! High quality work for a reasonable price by a trustworthy and extremely nice guy - can't ask for more than that. Just wish the post-tuning mini-concert lasted a bit longer. :)
