J.C. King's Tree & Stump

For the past two years, I've been trying to have a dead tree removed.  I contacted several tree services requesting an estimate to remove a dead tree. Various companies provided estimates indicating a minimum of $300 or more to do the work. Some would ask over the phone for the size and height of the tree and a few even requested I send a picture to see if it was worth their time. On two occasions I agreed to the price even though it was clearly much higher than the effort.  I was told the insurance was the driving factor for why it cost so much.  I scheduled the service and in both instances the companies failed to show up at the designated time.  I concluded at this point that I would do it myself somehow to avoid potential damage should the tree fall. I was fortunate enough to drive by James King's advertisement so I contacted him on Monday, August 19. I explained what I needed and he provided me a very reasonable estimate that evening. This Friday, he showed up and a crew of four promptly cut down the tree and removed all debris. This was done in less than one hour. The service was excellent.  He was professional, courteous and delivered on his commitment. I would use him again anytime. He does work that other tree services consider too small, but the work is more than one individual can do. His parting words were "No job is too small" and he means it.
