LOW CALORIE BUTTER SPRAY. THE STAIN WAS ABOUT 18 X 12 INCHES.
I WENT ON THE INTERNET AND TRIED MANY POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS WITH NO POSITIVE RESULTS. I THEN CALLED MY GRANITE PROVIDER AND THEY GAVE ME TWO NAMES TO CALL. ONE PERSON SUGGESTED DUPONT STAIN REMOVER. THIS TURNED OUT TO OUT TO BE VERY COSTLY, WITH A BAD ODOR AND A FOUR DAY CURING TIME. IT DID NOT RESULT IN REMOVING THE STAIN. I CALLED HIM BACK AND HE SAID HE WAS SORRY TO HEAR THAT AND THAT THE STAIN WAS TO DEEP FOR THE STAIN REMOVER TO WORK AND OF COURSE TO DEEP TO GRIND OFF. I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE COUNTER TOP OR LIVE WITH IT.
I THEN CALLED FRED ATKINS, WHO WAS WORKING ON ANOTHER JOB AND SAID HE WOULD STOP OVER ON HIS WAY HOME TO LOOK AT THE STAIN. WHEN HE ARRIVED HE SAID THE STAIN DID NOT LOOK THAT BAD. THE NEXT DAY I TRIED I TRIED HIS FORMULA AND TECHNIQUE WITH A MIRACLE LIKE RESULT. THE STAIN WAS COMPLETLY REMOVED, WITH MINIMAL COST, ODOR AND ONE DAY CURE..
I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE FRED ATKINS WITH ANY GRANITE OR MARBLE RESTORATIONS
