Tommy and his crew reroofed my home In a little over a week. His crew consists of well qualified individuals. In spite of the fact that we have many plants in the close proximity of the house, we experienced no damage when the old roof and the underlying felt was removed. Even the short bout of rain that we had during roofing was taken into account by Tommy's fastidious planning and we suffered no drips to stain our ceilings.
We had chosen Atlantic blue for the color of the shingles. Tommy had only put on this color once in the twenty years he's been roofing, so we both had little apprehension. He stated that many people like it, but when it actually comes down to making the choice they are a little bit nervous to install that color. We had chosen the higher-priced thicker grade of shingles because I felt it would give more depth to the roof and was aesthetically pleasing. Although they were more expensive than the regular shingles, I told Tommy that the extra expense would be forgotten in a couple of months but every time I looked up at the roof I'd be kicking myself for not installing the nicer look. To be extremely honest, I couldn't be more happier with the finished product. We had to wait about a month and a half in the queue, but it was well worth it. In addition the cleanup was nitpickingly well done to my complete satisfaction.
My neighbor across the street is now considering doing the same thing.
