Bowers Lawn Care & Landscaping

I currently reside in Pooler, Georgia. Mr. Bowers and his workers are professional and prompt. He arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled time to install an irrigation system for my garden. They did a fantastic job. The system was installed in one day. It comes on and off automatically and I don't have to manually wet the garden every day. I am extremely pleased with the install.

I noticed during the summer of 2015 I stopped receiving an invoice after each service was done. When I saw Mr. Bower that October I mentioned that I did not want to be billed cumulatively. I had always been a pay as you go customer and no other billing type was ever discussed with me. The only time I saw Mr. Bowers in 2016 was around the end of February. I asked why I was still being billed erratically and that it was unfair to me. He stated he forgot (I doubted) or did not have the sticky invoices he puts on the door. I told him the sticky invoice should not be an issue when he could write what I owed on a piece of paper and put it under my door mat. I received 3 sticky notices at one time in June with no dates (only month shown) of when services were performed. There was an additional charge of $10 with no explanation, which I inquired about when I made the payment (never got an answer). I did not receive another bill until the end of October 2016. From about the end of August thru the end of October 2016 I had to be away on a family matter. I hired a neighborhood boy to do my watering two to three times of week. He was told to check the front door/under the door mat for a bill and let me know so I could send a check from where I was. He would always say it looks like the lawn was done, but no bill. His mother confirmed this. I got an email from the boy late October letting me know there was bill. I told him I would be home in a week or so and I will take care of it at that time. The bill was for $320. The service charge was usually $35 plus additional charges if more than basic lawn care was done. No dates of service were included to let me know how the total was determined. A pay as you go customer should not have a bill like that. I did try to contact Mr. Bowers before I left about a bill, but his phone mail box was always full. In 2017, I refuse to go through another season of not knowing when I will be billed or with incomplete information on the bill.

They do our service monthly and they come out twice a month.

We have a contract with them. They come out every two to three weeks through out the season. A typical visit is $40.

I had been wanting the tree removed. Other gardners did not want to do it.  The tree was on the front lawn and other methods had been used to help the grass and it did not work.  In my second season with Bowers Lawn Care & Landscaping, I asked if they could remove the tree.  Mr. Bower stated that could be done and recommended re-sodding of most of the main lawn and another area.  I agreed with his recommendation.  Within a week Mr. Bowers along with his crew came and did the work.  They came early and were done before noon.  It did not take long to recognize the great work they had done.  I soon felt my lawn was one of the better ones on my street.  My family agreed when I sent them pictures.  They had all seen first hand the previous lawn.  Routine lawn care was also provided by Bowers.  I look forword to the 2015 season when they will be doing some landscaping and routine lawn care.

Mr. Bryce was pleasant and professional. He and his staff did an excellent job! He also noticed that my hedges needed to be trimmed. No gardener has ever made a comment about anything but the lawn. I was happy that he was looking at the yard in general and not just the lawn area. I told Mr. Bryce that could be done on his next visit. I look forward to working with him in the future.

Excellent - We talked on the phone, they arrived as scheduled, did the work and adjusted as I requested, professional in every way. I'd suggest that if there's some trimming you don't want done, go over that before they begin. They aren't shy about doing what they think needs doing.

I had let my yard go. There were all those pine needles, leaves and everything. My husband saw this company in the neighborhood. He talked to them. They came out that afternoon and gave us a quote. Then they came back a couple of hours later and did the yard. It looked great. They did a total fix up for the next season and they really did a good job. They just came out very quickly. They could have put it off for two weeks. Their price was good. I would definitely use them again. They just did an excellent job and they did the job quickly. They were just two guys but they did the work of like 10 people.
