Very well. From Kayla, Chandler and Jeff Giesbrecht's prompt callback to my initial inquiry, from the frequent questions to Jeff as we negotiated on the scope of work to the excellent installation by Micah (Mike) McNeely and Filberto (Filly) Espinoza, all interactions were professional and succinct. Our installation was complex as I chose to relocate the upstairs system from a closet to the attic, requiring much prep work on my part. This was communicated to Jeff who integrated my work with what Giesbrecht would accomplish. The initial and final price (as there was more work required because of the system relocation) was reasonable, fair and lower than competition and what I expected. Jeff, Mike and Filly's appointments were proceeded both by a text and by e-mail. Mike and Filly arrived on time as promised, got right to work, did not take a lunch, finished well past 5:00pm and worked well as a team. While Mike worked in the attic on the furnace and coil, Filly was at the outside condenser or in the crawl space. There was never a time when both were not being productive. As I was helping with the installation, they kept me informed at the beginning of each day with a projection/goal of the work to be accomplished and the progress throughout the day. Their communication was exemplary and a credit to their company and profession. In addition to displaying good business practices, both Mike and Filly were technically very competent and performed tests and start-up tasks that their competitors do not. For example, new HVAC systems require a very precise refrigerant charge to work efficiently. To balance that charge amount, the industry protocol dictates that sub-cooling be checked, a sophisticated measurement. Few, if any contractors, bother. Giesbrecht does, therefore I was confident that my new HVAC system was properly commissioned to operate most efficiently. Bottom line, a customer could not lose with choosing Giesbrecht.
