Turned out great, but he was rude with our concerns about the final color. He said he would return left over (very expensive paint) that week. It is now nine months later and after many calls no paint.

Very well- John worked fast and his painting was excellent. No drips or spills double and triple coats if needed to get perfect results.

John was very professional from beginning to end. Did everything he has asked to do and the work he completed was excellent.. I would use him again and would recommend him to any one. He was meticulous and it shows.

John was very efficient, responsive, timely, and professional in every manner. He showed up promptly and worked hard until the job was complete. He did an excellent job for us! Very particular and detail oriented. We highly recommend him. He also is a veteran which was important for us.

Let me quickly give you some background; I bought a house in Port Royal.  I live about ten hours away, and cannot get down there to supervise the work we are doing.  I hired Environmental to paint the outside of my house, and he did a fantastic job.  Then I hired them to take down the popcorn ceiling in all of the common areas of the house.  Once again, he did a tremendous job.  The next phase was painting the walls.  Now this sounds like a piece of cake, but my living room and dining room walls are two stories high!  Once again, Environmental came through with another flawless project.  I have not seen the work, but my wife is visiting the house now and is very, very happy.  Oh, and one more thing; when we bought our house, we heard it rarely goes below freezing.  Before the recent cold snap in SC, John called me to say the weather was going to dip down below freezing, and asked if I wanted him to check my house.  (This was the first cold snap, and not the monster storm last week.)  I said sure, I wasn't even aware of the weather.  John took the necessary precautions to avoid freezing pipes.  I asked him what I owed him and he wouldn't take anything.  I can't say enough nice things about this company.

My husband and I are real estate brokers and we have been listing and selling houses and condos in the Beaufort County, SC area since 1992 (Hilton Head Island & Bluffton).  Thus, we know a number companies and individuals that specialize in painting.

 Environmental Painting & Drywall and John Collins "work ethic and quality of work" is a 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best).  We truly respect JOHN COLLINS for his integrity and reliability on the job and off the job!!!  (John also painted the interior of our home in 2007 and it still Looks Great!)

I bought a vacation house that is several states away from my home.  I was a little anxious about having someone work on my house and not be able to monitor the progress.  I received daily pictures of the work.  When I visited my house at after the project was completed, I was very pleased.  Everything was delivered as promised, without any shortcuts.  Neighbors commented on the meticulous prep work.  Some rotted wood discovered, that was replaced for a nominal upcharge.  Others may have ignored issues like this.  A couple of days after payment was made made, I received a call that I overpaid by mistake.  I think this speaks volumes about the character of Environmental Painting.  The highest form of endorsement of a company is to hire for your next project; which I have done.  They will be removing my popcorn ceilings, and repairing and painting.  In short, Environmental Painting is honest, hard-working and very proud of the work they do, which they should be.  Thanks again for a job well done.
