I had an excellent customer experience with Robinson Electric. The day of my appointment I was sent a photo of my technician Willie and was kept updated on his ETA. Willie arrived and quickly got to work troubleshooting the various electrical issues I was having. He found that most of the problems were simple fixes, which saved me a considerable amount of money. Willie was excellent! He was personable and professional while also educating me as he worked. He gave great tips and even assisted me with a hole in the wall. I am very pleased with the service and price and highly recommend Robinson Electric.

I paid over $300 for a emergency disconnect for the water heater. Unfortunately there was a lack of clarity with the process and we had the electrical work done before the water heater replacement. Since Robinson Electric agreed to a year warranty on labor we did not see the electrician test the disconnect and then when replacing the water heater the plumber touched the disconnect box. After the water heater was replaced there was no electricity running through and the plumber put a direct connection to ensure the water heater was working properly. We called Robinson to repair the disconnect and they got in an argument with my 70+ year old mother and refused to repair without an additional $100 fee. I declined and they gave me a small refund of $36 but I don't trust their contracts or electrical work. They lied about a year warranty, were unprofessional with my elderly mother.

All light fixtures were replaced well. Bathroom ceiling fan was noisy after running for an hour+. They came back and replaced with a second fan. My issue was they charged me a second time for the second trip to replace the fan which wasn't installed properly the first time. Claiming the first fan was defective, but it was really the installation that was defective. The double charge was unacceptable.

As for the defective fan, we discounted the charge to swap it out, even though it had nothing to do with the original installation. There is nothing that we did to make the fan have a motor hum after running for an hour! - the original installation was fine."

Steve was very professional except that he didn’t give me a price quote and shame on me for missing that detail. I asked him to install 3 ceiling fans. He was due around 11am and arrived shortly afterwards and left around 2pm. I wasn’t home so my mom paid and the bill was $550!!!! It cost $200 more than the actual fans. I’ll never call him again.

"My standard price for installing ceiling fan is $125. Additional work and materials were needed to install the fans safely - I had to swap out the boxes to fan rated boxes. One of the fans was in a dropped ceiling tile and the box had to be reinforced to prevent it from wobbling. I take pride in my work, and I won't install a ceiling fan in a box that is only rated for a light, which is hazardous."

It was a real good experience. He got here right on time and discovered that all we need were some new light fixtures, which even went and and picked up for us himself. We appreciated his willingness to make it easier on us and do that instead making us go to the store ourselves.

I called them and they were able to come out the next day; they had fast turnaround. They were very knowledgeable about code, since we are living in a home that was built back in 1955. He recognized the electric was not properly grounded in the attic, so he helped with that. He also looked at our back porch and gave us a quote. I appreciated that he didn’t charge us for an electrical diagnostic in the backyard, since he was already at our home helping with the exhaust/bathroom fixture.
