During the inspection, he received and answered several phone calls, one of which was nearly an hour long. I do not mind an inspector answering calls, but I do mind sitting around for an hour while he's on the phone, especially when later on he seems to be rushing and getting impatient with my questions since he's now behind schedule. I paid him for his service and his time, and I therefore expect to be the priority for his time. When the deal fell through on the house (for other reasons), I called him again to do an inspection on a second house I had found. I had asked via email if he gave a discount for repeat customers, but I did not get an answer. I then tried to schedule a time as soon as possible, which became a nightmare. He went ahead and started a radon test without my consent, and kept scheduling times for a home inspection without asking me first if that time was acceptable. He would tell me a time should be available, then call me back later in the day and tell me he wasn't available and he could only do it a day or two later (at a bad time for me). I finally found another inspector, and told him I had to cancel our appt since it would be too late into the week. He then told me after the fact that there would be a service charge to pick up the radon equipment. Although his previous inspection was technically sound (with some poor customer service), I cannot recommend him based on this latest experience.
