Brooks Design Studio

I was happy with Brooks Design Studio doing my drapery. People have contacted me and came over to see her work. She does beautiful work. I've had custom draperies done before and they're probably the prettiest I've ever had done. She was very fair in her pricing. She really worked with me. She knew my budget and kind of told me what we can do. She even offered to go with me to look at fabrics. We went and looked, she talked. She found me a fabric that was on sale. I liked that she gave me her input.

She is a graduate from the University of Georgia in interior design and she does her own work. She designs the job abd listens for your input and ideas. She does not use a workshop or workroom to do the treatments, she does them herself.

She does the measuring and she has her own installer that comes with her. She stays there with him and makes sure that it is done correctly. I like that I didn’t have to buy my fabric through her; I could buy my fabric wherever I wanted to and she would even go with me to look at fabric if I wanted her to. She does quality work. It’s not fair to put a price on the work because it depended on the fabric used, design and the amount of labor. I talked to six different companies and she brought out samples of her work for me to look at so I could see the quality of her work. Out of all of them she was fair and reasonable and I didn’t feel like it was overpriced. If I couldn’t afford the price quotes she was more than willing to work with me to get it the price were both of us felt it comfortable with the price of the job. I loved that I was involved in the creative process and she was great at listening and suggesting things to make the end product more beautiful than I had expected. She’s coming back in a couple weeks to do more window treatments and slipcovers for my livingroom.
