recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Britt Brothers Cabinets to install $16,000 worth of brand-new RTA cabinets and an island in my kitchen, and it turned into an absolute nightmare. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and incompetent this company was throughout the entire process. First and foremost, the installation itself was a disaster. The cabinets were installed in such a haphazard manner that they were completely unaligned. It looked like a DIY project gone wrong. To make matters worse, there were drill holes scattered all over the cabinet doors, completely ruining their appearance. It was clear that no care or attention to detail was taken during the installation process. The incompetence did not stop there. The workers dared to use a saw directly on top of my kitchen island, leaving deep scratches and marks. Not only did they damage my property, but they did not bother cleaning up after themselves either. My kitchen was left covered in sawdust, and I had to spend hours cleaning up the mess they left behind. Furthermore, the cabinet doors were never adjusted properly. They were crooked and uneven, making it difficult to open and close them. It was clear that this company had no interest in delivering a finished product that met even the most basic standards of quality. The crown molding installation was another example of their sloppy work. The cuts were rough, and the seams were poorly aligned. It was an eyesore and completely ruined the overall aesthetic of my kitchen. They did not even use the filler so that the crown molding would touch the ceiling it was left 3.5 inches away from the ceiling, To add insult to injury, the workers only put in minimal effort, working a measly 1-2 hours per visit. This resulted in the project dragging on for months, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience for me. Even worse, they did not bother installing the railings for the pull-out shelving as promised, leaving me with a half-completed job. Grant it I caused the initial delay because all of the trim had not been delivered on the first visit so instead, the workers simply built SOME of the cabinets and sat them to the side. When it finally came time to pay, they had the nerve to demand full payment for a poor and incomplete job. It took weeks for them to return to the job site, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect. The representative from the company dared to tell me that I could shove the remaining $425 up my a$$ even though I had already paid $2,025 of a staggering $2,450. I am appalled by the unprofessionalism, lack of skill, and disrespect I experienced with Britt Brothers Cabinets Inc. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to run as far away as possible. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and financial loss by finding a more reputable company that takes pride in its workmanship and values its customers. I ended up hiring another company to come in to correct and complete their work and had to pay an additional $1,100.00 for the corrections.
