Appliance Traders Repair

I had a refrigerator issue with cooling and needed to find someone to repair it to be able to cool again. I found Appliance Trader Repairs and the initial visit from them sounded like my refrigerator will be easily repaired by replacing the control board. They brought the control board and the refrigerator was working for a day or two before breaking again. I have already paid $335 for the service. I called them in again and upon the second revisit, they changed their opinion on the matter and said the fridge is not longer repairable and I should get another fridge. I requested a refund but they refused and I know that I am being scammed since they are changing diagnosis after milking payments from me as well as refusing a refund when they could not preform the repair.

Kitchenaid assigned this company to repair a f9-e1 code. Paul came to the house told us nothing was wrong showed me what looked like dryer lint and said it was clogged. It was not clogged, how do I know 1st hired plumbers before he came, there were no clogs to cause that error code. 2nd it gave us the same error code 1 hour after he left. We wasted 6 weeks and 135.00 to get it repaired and today it is still broken!! Do yourself a favor don't buy a KitchenAid!! AND DON'T USE THIS GUY!!!! If your KitchenAid dishwasher is out of warranty and you have an issue buy a new dishwasher. Kitchenaid made me wait 6 weeks to send this company and my dishwasher is still broken. Going to buy a Bosch!!

We didn't really like Appliance Traders Repair.  This was going to be approximately like $400 to repair the crack in the door of the washing machine. He said that he had never seen anything like this before, never heard of anybody top of the washer cracking.  He reported back to Lowe's that he had come out and looked at our unit which he did not and that we were going to have to pay for this.  I called Whirpool it's a Whirpool product and told them how the door was busted, it would fall on your head when you were trying to wash your clothes.  I had many washing machines but have never had one that had lid cracked, this was crazy!  After much fighting with Lowe's because of Appliance Traders Repair they chose to fix it for free under contract because of it being a dangerous thing where the door was busted and they wound up coming and replacing the door for free but I felt like Appliance Traders was lying to Lowe's saying that they had been out here and looked at my washer and we were going to have to pay for it when he had never physically been to the house.  By his comments we were going to end up paying a large fee for that when in fact it was something that should have been covered and that was taken care of.  

Days after he had left we had another problem with the machine, on 12/31 we called back Lowe's, said we're having additional problems which the Appliance Traders Repair did not find or fix when they were here because the quickest thing they could do was just slap on that door and leave, he didn't look at the machine or do anything else.  They said, "Okay we're going to send out another business guy called Dependable Services," and they were fantastic.  Appliance Traders Repair did not do any type of diagnostic at all, they are very dishonest.  I will not be using Appliance Traders Repair in the future.

We called Paul on Monday and he came out and analyzed the problem.  He gave us a price and asked us to check and see if we wnate dhim to repair the machine or if we wanted to b uy a new one.  After checking prices of new machines, we called Paul and asked him to return and fix the machine.  He did not charge for the first visit.  His work was outstanding.
