Awesome company! I cannot say enough good things about Glen and Apalachee Floors. I had storm/water damage to my hardwood floors, and Apalachee was recommended to me. Glen came out just as scheduled, calmed my fears about the floor, and encouraged me to let the floors dry out before having any work done. He could easily have gouged me for unnecessary work. He reached back out to me 30 days later, came back to reassess, and everything looks good. And he didn't charge me a thing. I so appreciated dealing with a company with such obvious integrity.

We are thrilled with the results! We had our hardwood floors extended into the family room and master bedroom on the main; then all floors were re-stained and refinished. There is an art to getting the stain right as well as wood placement. Glen guided us throughout the process and offered great advice. The installment and refinishing team are true craftsman, attending to every detail; professional and very customer service oriented. The results are stunning. Apalachee Hardwood Floors exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them.

We have been in our house for over 23 years and our hardwood floors had never been resanded and refinished and they were looking very worn. I didn't know who to call so I consulted Angie's List. Angie's List referred me to Apalachee Hardwood Floors who were located in my area. I called Apapachee and spoke to Glen who was very nice and professional. Within days, they came out and gave us an estimate on the job and within days, they had come out and completed the assignment to perfection. The hardwood in our Foyer, Hallway, Breakfast Area and Kitchen now look as good as new. I am so glad that I consulted Angie's List on this project and I will definitely consult them again and request Apalachee Hardwood for any future flooring needs. I will refer them to others as well. They are great and they do an excellent job! You will be pleased!

I was very impressed with Glen and his team. They were flexible and worked around my tight timeline. I got several other quotes and their price was by far the lowest for what they were willing to do. I got my entire 2nd floor and two stairwells redone in hardwood. I love the results and have a received many complements. Also, the stairs were in bad shape and they did a great job restoring them. Other contractors asked for their name because they were impressed with the work. Thank you Apalachee!

I met with several different flooring companies to discuss my project. I purchased a condo from 1910, with a patchwork of different flooring work having been done to it over the years. Glen gave me the best impression of everyone that I met with, walking me through the process and discussing how his team would handle various aspects of the project. Because the unit is so old, some floors were original, some were newer, and the condition varied greatly from one room to the next. I wanted the floors to be refinished all at once so that they were all on the same page. Glen's team was prompt and efficient with their work and kept constant communication throughout. We stayed on budget and on schedule, despite the busy time of year for home renovations. I'd definitely recommend Apalachee to handle your floors.

The floors looked beautiful after they were installed, but within six months there was an issue with the product where the boards had small splits and became unsightly which worsened over a year's time . Glen worked with the hardwood floor manufacturer and replaced a third of the floor which had this problem at no charge to us. He made sure we were satisfied, was never judgmental and was supportive. We would recommend him and Isaac, who works for Glen, for thoroughness and making sure everything was done right. They were truly professional and we highly recommend them.

The project went very well. The appointment was set and the company showed up at the time we had agreed upon. We discussed the work to be done, tested different stain colors and then the work proceeded. The refinisher worked for two straight day and the floors and shoe molding look amazing. I am so happy with all aspects of this job.
I was expecting to have to touch up the baseboard at the end of the job, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I had to do nothing. There were no scratches or marks of any kind on the freshly painted base boards. I will definitely refer company to friends and use them again.

We originally called Apalachee flooring with the thought that we would have to replace our hardwood flooring. Glen suggested that refinishing was a much better option, and thought that he could remove many of the squeaking areas. The work was done over three days. The workman (perhaps a poor choice of terms--he was excellent!) moved all of the heavy furniture and replaced it 24 hours after refinishing the floors. We particularly appreciated the opportunity to preview several different finishes on our actual flooring. We were very surprised by how little dust was spread to other areas of the house. Although not all of the squeaking areas were eliminated, they are much improved. The finished floors look beautiful.

Although I had to put back start date 4 times, when we finally had a good start date, he was able to start on that date and install in the time he said it would take. The following week, after Glen's crew had sanded all floors, he quickly applied different stains to floor as examples, and was able to modify the stain to get to the color I wanted. It took the crew the 3 days he had said it would take to sand, stain and finish all flooring. He and his crew were hard working and professional at all times. It was a joy to work with them!

The project was challenging, in that the floor treads had to be cut to fit each step of the stairs and then stained to match. The house is old so nothing is exactly square. The job went very well and took only two days, with a half day return the following week to address some small concerns I had. Glen, the Operations Manager, was very responsive to my concerns and addressed them all promptly and to my satisfaction. Isaac, who did the work, was very conscientious and made a point of involving me in every decision along the way. I can see why this company has earned the high ratings that it has, and I would definitely use them again!

I contacted Apalachee and spoke with Glen about the state of my stairs. Made an appointment for him to come over and he give me advice and estimate on how to make my stairs beautiful. I relied on his experience after checking all the reviews. His team member came over and was completely professional. Hands down. Very nice person. The process took several days because of some changes I made which where different from what I originally requested. After seeing the updated stairs I just had to change the wood spindles to metal. They didn't skip a beat. When I told him I was a Veteran and wanted to save some money my purchasing the materials myself he said no problem and provided me a list of everything I needed. This was the best experience and my stairs are beautiful. Because of the excellent work I got estimates for other rooms that I plan on having hard wood flooring added. I would highly recommend this company. Now I'm going to paint the hall way to go with the stairs. :)

I originally emailed Glen to get a ballpark figure on what it would cost to replace the carpeted stairs. Glen was very responsive and was nice enough to look at the photos and give me an idea via email. He has always been very responsive, professional and great to work with. He worked with us mixing stains to get the color we wanted. We made a few last minute changes and they were fine with it. Their price was the best of the quotes I obtained however I would have been willing to pay a higher cost based on the excellent responsiveness. The work looks fantastic, we are very happy with the end results. Glen knew we were moving in and texted me on the day of the move with some helpful hints to protect the floor as well as responds quickly to my texts when I have questions. I highly recommend them and would use them again.
